Դեկտեմբերի 2-ին Հայ եկեղեցին հիշատակեց հայոց առաջին լուսավորիչներ Սուրբ Թադեոս և Սուրբ Բարդուղիմեոս առաքյալների տոնը: Եկեղեցական թափորի ուղեկցությամբ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսը դուրս բերեց Աստվածամուխ Սուրբ Գեղարդը՝ օրհնություն բաշխելով ուխտավորներին:
