The problem with big institutes is you don't get to study from best teachers for all exams. Kuch log CAT ka acha pada dete hain OMETs ke liye ek hi person hai Pranav sir. He is the most hardworking and sincere teacher for MBA exams. Whoever has attended his youtube classes on gradeup, unacademy or MBA Karo will agree with me.

Aptitude jab for cat preparation is one of best channel for dilr practice over 300 sets there variety of different concepts go there and solve daily 4 sets it will really helps alot in my cat 2022 preparation .i ace 2 and half sets in which toppers can attempt maximum 2 sets 😊
Currently a student of IMS Bangalore Offline classes, long story short my reason to join an offline coaching centre was to stay consistent and motivated plus have a peer group..alas found myself to be in a more miserable situation, wasting money on the classes. If anything save yourself from their marketing gimmicks and don't spend money on them. There are plenty of resources available out here urge you to please utilise these . Huge shoutout to Shweta for making such helpful & relatable content for all the aspirants. Indian education system is turning out to be money making model and the only way to save ourselves is to have transparency and actual facts out here which reach the people in need of them.

I was planning to join catking but before that I wanted to know what they really teach how they teach because I've not seen in their website that they don't provide demo classes. Therefore I tried to ask many students about this but nobody replied. I know Sumit sir is good for motivation he is trying hard and helping you to not loose confidence which will also play the major role in your cat exam so keep following in yt but teaching is something different from motivation.
Absolutely correct review they teach like we know it already from the beginning there is no proper explanation regarding anything they only explain bas that's all . It's the Coaching who know the base topics clearly. But as non engineer I am really disappointed of their coaching regarding motivation it's the no. One channel I agree but motivation will not help you to get an IIM .... That's all
one more factor must be there that classes will be regular or on alternate days I joined 12 months before cat my coaching take classes on alternate day or sometime between 2-3 days gap in between two successive classes, my whole class is suffering from burnout as course was completed in September almost 9 months to complete basics.

Hey Dii , I was also very stressed while finding for coaching, but then I found Mindworkzz the arun sharma sir coaching and I decided to go for online , and I'm really glad that I chose it because it's really amazing all the teachers are just amazing and specially arun sharma sir helping at every stage we are free to connect to them anytime.... Can't say about other coachings but I liked this.😊

Hello shweta di, I have actually written the review but i have forgot to mention some points . I was a student of IMS from mumbai centre this year and the centre in which I was they never taught us the whole class exercise sometimes not even the challengers questions too and they expect us to complete the practice exercise which is very difficult. But when it was online they taught us almost all the questions of class exercise and challengers but in a rush as if there are only smart brains studying and will understand in one go. For non engineer like me it was too difficult to understand especially quonts. And even after immense complaints to change the faculty it was not changed till the end. And also Mocks are at an extreme difficulty level compared to actual CAT paper. Which also sometimes demotivates the aspirants with low scores and also when you ask admin faculty which colleges/exams forms to apply then they say you can't improve your score in a month if you score this then stop wasting your parents money etc. How can one motivate oneself at the time of exams with such a comment from admin. Can you please pin this comment for the student who is planning for coaching in IMS, or else can you add this in the Excel sheet. I want to tell people the actual problems I as a student went through. Thank you ❤️

Quality of classes were not good....but when you check online portal of IMS .. believe me you don't need any Teacher as offline classs..... online portal of IMS is world best.... And mocks are best of best .. no word to about IMS online portal..

Hi Shweta, I live in indore and as such here there aren't many good institutes for cat offline. So should I prefer online classes or should I go for offline only.
As shared in the video also, faculty should be the priority. If you don't have good teachers there (though survey shares some reviews of Indore city also), you can go for online.

Guys I am also from Indore and trust me IMS indore isn’t worth it at all, it is my second CAT attempt and I was a part of their Classroom program, they don’t teach you reasoning or approach only focus is on course completion. They aren’t at par with the reputation of IMS nationally. Don’t waste your time and money on them, instead opt for any good online coaching. I am a student of Takshzila and can vouch for their pedagogy they focus on clearing and strengthening fundamentals and are also very responsive and patient with all the doubts. Many lessons of Chandra sir and Nishant sir are available for free on TH-cam. You can check them out and make your own decision. But trust me, online coachings are far better than offline, in-terms of content and teaching style, also you will save up quite a lot on both time and money.

So true. I wasted 1 month in search of an institute. I got in one but still, I did not find that helpful. I would highly recommend Unacademy, specially Harsh Shah sir and Sameer Sardana sir for quant and dilr and Karishma Vanvani ma'am for verbal. They might be underrated but the teaching method is very nice. For mocks, go for IMS and Cracku. Thank you so much for such constant motivating and informative videos.

I was a student of MBA Guru CP offline batch. I joined at around Jan 2022 and left on July. I am very weak at maths and struggle doing basic maths questions and I knew maths is an imp part of the exam so I wanted a coaching that will teach from the very basic level as I am also an arts students and have lost touch with maths for years. This was one of the main reasons I left the institute. The teachers are good and the coaching provides many facilities but they do not start at the very basic level. During the first few months I had such a hard time coping up. I felt like I was running a race trying to finish up the concepts they were teaching but when I tried to solve something most of the time I wouldn't even be able to solve even 1 question. This disheartened me so much and I had so many mental breakdowns because of this. I followed everything they were teaching and did everything they asked me to do but felt like I was going nowhere. They do have classes for the weak (adaptive class) but at different timings (mostly late at night) and most of the time the topics for these classes and the main classes would be different so it was so hard to keep track. Both the classes were not aligning up. Some teachers would straight up laugh at you when you ask basic questions and this was discouraging. The regular classes would go for 3 hours. First they would teach the topic concepts and then give question papers and ask everyone to solve the questions and then the rest of the class they would solve the questions that the students wouldn't be able to solve. I most of the time would hardly be able to solve the question in the class and would wait for the adaptive classes where they would teach us HOW to solve the questions only then I was getting somewhere. Around time I started noticing the students in the class were mostly BTechs and commerce students so they were able to solve the question. I however felt like a fish out of the pond. If you are already good at maths I guess MBA Guru will be the best for you as they have many good facilities; recorded sessions, backup sessions, one on one with the teachers, training for interview skills, etc. I might have gone wrong somewhere with my approach to the preparation but this was my experience that I wanted to share with you guys. After I left the coaching I kept aside the syllabus and first started preparing very basic level maths which I failed to realise I needed from the very start, only then I started with the syllabus.I put my whole preparing strategy on the coaching institute which was my biggest mistake.

@@ManishKumar-go9wr If you are good with maths and fast then you can go. But just remember the QA teaching there is a bit fast paced. Also idk why for some reason even the topper of the class got only 80%. DILR and VARC is good. You can even request a teacher change if you feel that a particular teacher is not suiting you. Rest assured students get good support, doubt clearance session and extra sessions if requested.
@@ManishKumar-go9wr Keep in mind to decide your own speed and pace. Remember while we are trying to grasp the topic, they are also trying to complete the syllabus within a specific date.

The best teacher of MBA entrance exams is Pranav Pant sir. He is the God of DILR. His teaching style is amazing, makes things crystal clear. He appears in all exams and is the only one in the industry who has knowledge about CAT and OMETs. He conducts revision sessions for all exams and all sections including GK on his TH-cam channel MBA Karo. The best part is he can be reached out easily and helps each student even if they are not enrolled in his batches. He was earlier with Byjus, then Unacademy and now runs his own institute. I will highly recommend him as the best mentor for MBA preparation.
I am a TIME CP student, and I believe the course structure and resources are really nice. Backup classes, Doubt Classes all things work nicely and in sync. If you utilise it efficiently, including taking help from faculty and other staff you can do really good. I am satisfied with the amount spent, around 55k for 10 months.
@@sanketpatil5213 You can. Check when will they complete the course, if it gets over around 15 September it'll be superb. Keep commute as low as possible, around 15 mins works. You will have to be disciplined, stick with TIME's material, if you choose time. Don't get distracted - different teaching styles will confuse you. Saying that this is what I learnt, you should learn to iterate and mould things according to your needs.

I was planning to join catking but before that I wanted to know what they really teach how they teach because I've not seen in their website that they don't provide demo classes. Therefore I tried to ask many students about this but nobody replied. I know Sumit sir is good for motivation he is trying hard and helping you to not loose confidence which will also play the major role in your cat exam so keep following in yt but teaching is something different from motivation.
Absolutely correct review they teach like we know it already from the beginning there is no proper explanation regarding anything they only explain bas that's all . It's the Coaching who know the base topics clearly. But as non engineer I am really disappointed of their coaching regarding motivation it's the no. One channel I agree but motivation will not help you to get an IIM .... That's all

one more factor must be there that classes will be regular or on alternate days I joined 12 months before cat my coaching take classes on alternate day or sometime between 2-3 days gap in between two successive classes, my whole class is suffering from burnout as course was completed in September almost 9 months to complete basics.

Hello shweta di, I have actually written the review but i have forgot to mention some points . I was a student of IMS from mumbai centre this year and the centre in which I was they never taught us the whole class exercise sometimes not even the challengers questions too and they expect us to complete the practice exercise which is very difficult. But when it was online they taught us almost all the questions of class exercise and challengers but in a rush as if there are only smart brains studying and will understand in one go. For non engineer like me it was too difficult to understand especially quonts. And even after immense complaints to change the faculty it was not changed till the end. And also Mocks are at an extreme difficulty level compared to actual CAT paper. Which also sometimes demotivates the aspirants with low scores and also when you ask admin faculty which colleges/exams forms to apply then they say you can't improve your score in a month if you score this then stop wasting your parents money etc. How can one motivate oneself at the time of exams with such a comment from admin. Can you please pin this comment for the student who is planning for coaching in IMS, or else can you add this in the Excel sheet. I want to tell people the actual problems I as a student went through. Thank you ❤️

Hi Shweta, I live in indore and as such here there aren't many good institutes for cat offline. So should I prefer online classes or should I go for offline only.
As shared in the video also, faculty should be the priority. If you don't have good teachers there (though survey shares some reviews of Indore city also), you can go for online.

Guys I am also from Indore and trust me IMS indore isn’t worth it at all, it is my second CAT attempt and I was a part of their Classroom program, they don’t teach you reasoning or approach only focus is on course completion. They aren’t at par with the reputation of IMS nationally. Don’t waste your time and money on them, instead opt for any good online coaching.
I am a student of Takshzila and can vouch for their pedagogy they focus on clearing and strengthening fundamentals and are also very responsive and patient with all the doubts.
Many lessons of Chandra sir and Nishant sir are available for free on TH-cam. You can check them out and make your own decision.
But trust me, online coachings are far better than offline, in-terms of content and teaching style, also you will save up quite a lot on both time and money.
Really you live in Indore coz there are 2 good institutes named Ch edge makers and TIME. Please checkout that if still preparing

So true. I wasted 1 month in search of an institute. I got in one but still, I did not find that helpful. I would highly recommend Unacademy, specially Harsh Shah sir and Sameer Sardana sir for quant and dilr and Karishma Vanvani ma'am for verbal. They might be underrated but the teaching method is very nice. For mocks, go for IMS and Cracku. Thank you so much for such constant motivating and informative videos.

I was a student of MBA Guru CP offline batch. I joined at around Jan 2022 and left on July. I am very weak at maths and struggle doing basic maths questions and I knew maths is an imp part of the exam so I wanted a coaching that will teach from the very basic level as I am also an arts students and have lost touch with maths for years. This was one of the main reasons I left the institute. The teachers are good and the coaching provides many facilities but they do not start at the very basic level. During the first few months I had such a hard time coping up. I felt like I was running a race trying to finish up the concepts they were teaching but when I tried to solve something most of the time I wouldn't even be able to solve even 1 question. This disheartened me so much and I had so many mental breakdowns because of this. I followed everything they were teaching and did everything they asked me to do but felt like I was going nowhere. They do have classes for the weak (adaptive class) but at different timings (mostly late at night) and most of the time the topics for these classes and the main classes would be different so it was so hard to keep track. Both the classes were not aligning up. Some teachers would straight up laugh at you when you ask basic questions and this was discouraging.
The regular classes would go for 3 hours. First they would teach the topic concepts and then give question papers and ask everyone to solve the questions and then the rest of the class they would solve the questions that the students wouldn't be able to solve. I most of the time would hardly be able to solve the question in the class and would wait for the adaptive classes where they would teach us HOW to solve the questions only then I was getting somewhere. Around time I started noticing the students in the class were mostly BTechs and commerce students so they were able to solve the question. I however felt like a fish out of the pond.
If you are already good at maths I guess MBA Guru will be the best for you as they have many good facilities; recorded sessions, backup sessions, one on one with the teachers, training for interview skills, etc.
I might have gone wrong somewhere with my approach to the preparation but this was my experience that I wanted to share with you guys.
After I left the coaching I kept aside the syllabus and first started preparing very basic level maths which I failed to realise I needed from the very start, only then I started with the syllabus.I put my whole preparing strategy on the coaching institute which was my biggest mistake.

@@ManishKumar-go9wr If you are good with maths and fast then you can go. But just remember the QA teaching there is a bit fast paced. Also idk why for some reason even the topper of the class got only 80%. DILR and VARC is good. You can even request a teacher change if you feel that a particular teacher is not suiting you. Rest assured students get good support, doubt clearance session and extra sessions if requested.
@@ManishKumar-go9wr Keep in mind to decide your own speed and pace. Remember while we are trying to grasp the topic, they are also trying to complete the syllabus within a specific date.

The best teacher of MBA entrance exams is Pranav Pant sir. He is the God of DILR. His teaching style is amazing, makes things crystal clear. He appears in all exams and is the only one in the industry who has knowledge about CAT and OMETs. He conducts revision sessions for all exams and all sections including GK on his TH-cam channel MBA Karo. The best part is he can be reached out easily and helps each student even if they are not enrolled in his batches. He was earlier with Byjus, then Unacademy and now runs his own institute. I will highly recommend him as the best mentor for MBA preparation.

I am a TIME CP student, and I believe the course structure and resources are really nice.
Backup classes, Doubt Classes all things work nicely and in sync. If you utilise it efficiently, including taking help from faculty and other staff you can do really good.
I am satisfied with the amount spent, around 55k for 10 months.

@@sanketpatil5213 You can. Check when will they complete the course, if it gets over around 15 September it'll be superb.
Keep commute as low as possible, around 15 mins works. You will have to be disciplined, stick with TIME's material, if you choose time. Don't get distracted - different teaching styles will confuse you.
Saying that this is what I learnt, you should learn to iterate and mould things according to your needs.
