I agree with your comment. Magna is one of the best true follows out there and she does not worry about over-styling as much as some other girls. I know from dancing with her myself.
It would be a pleasure to dance with Magna, she really feels the music, and that fellas, it's what is all about. I like to travel the world, so I'm sure I will see her in one of those congress and or socials.
Actually I am surprised by that criticism of Magna. Personally, I think she is most considerate with leaders and therefore does not style as much as a lot of the other 'divas'. Infact, others criticize her about not styling enough, so it seems like a no-win situation, lol. Also, a leader should be good enough not to lose his beat because the follower does a little styling. Stay focused and keep your beat...
Interesting criticism about Magna's hop step. I've always observed that to be her foot correction move when she's landed inconveniently to go into the next move. And re: her "styling", I've never noted her to be just arbitrarily styling. So long as her styling hijacks are to express something in the music, I say go for it. I think the compensation and resets we see in the clip are just as a result of having a not-so-good connection/chemistry. It happens. :)
