On top of the majestic and absolute mastery of her instrument, I love the little pauses while she seems to decide WHICH of about 101 things she could do next.
The absolute master, the mistress, the maestra of that Telecaster! What a goddess! Perfect, effortless control of tone, phrasing and punctuation. Never athletic, simply skilled and delivered.
just saw her last night at an awesome blues concert and got her autograph cause she had this amazing guitar duel with another guitarist. IT WAS SO FREAKING AMAZING GUITAR IS SO COOL!
The voice is so so, but the music is sensational. Well, I suppose you can’t have it all. The guitar work is the tune’s sizzlin’ hero; a genuine Blues Angel - no Ice Queen there at all.
I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out who Sue Foley reminds me of - at least visually. It's Scarlett Johansson. Granted she has several years on the actress, but maybe we can say Sue reminds me of Scarlett's mom ... although, wow, what a mom.
