Yeah, there might be a lot of celebs that say they are Army or fans, but I think there are few I think we know or you could tell is a real army. John Cena is a big one. You could tell by the way he explains (when asked) about them and their music. The fact he knows song titles from J-Hope’s mixtape (and is his bias) he does love BTS.
Yea I’m really curious about exactly how he found them by accident but he never says. But he’s def army with a jhope bias. He even got their song Fire in his latest movie and used a bts song when he presented at nick awards lol. He’s awesome to begin with but has bonus points as an army

Hobi was saying the members go out together to do things together like go to the Han River... I remember someone in another comment section explaining that RM understood the question in American terms but in Korean terms dating can also be a friend activity. I guess teeeechnically here in the USA we could say to a friend Let's make a date, but it's highly uncommon.

I just plainly took it as J-Hope giving a mischievous answer ☺️, but I can see what you mean, if that is the norm in Korea to call it dating whether between friends or actual dating, then maybe J-Hope did mean that. I have to say, watching these interviews in english, RM has a hard job of deciphering an answer if it’s tricky to understand and whether to translate it to english, because Americans or whoever may not understand the context of a reply. It takes constant patience within himself to understand how to translate and coordination to switch from what one member is really saying as their answer and how to explain it so Americans understand what the members really mean. No matter how amazing RM’s english sounds and how smart he is, Korean is his first language and of course at home he mainly speaks in Korean. So it’s a skill I think he has to freshen up and refine every time there’s a comeback when they’re promoting in the states. I’ve seen a clip of RM once stumbled in translating, but there was a translator present that took over for him. RM still looked panicked/flustered for being stuck and J-Hope just took the mic away from him so he doesn’t have to think about/worry about translating in an interview. Every guy plays a role in supporting one another, they are great
I used to live in Korea for few years and when we hang out ( with friends, family or lovers) we say "Im on a date" dating is not something we use for lovers only ! I think he clearly understood what the question was about but since "a date" is also something everyone can use with everyone, he just tried to deviated the question by talking about his members^^ There is nothing romantic here ! He said in Korean " we go to Han river together with the members" by using the word Date :)

The try not to laugh challenge they did had a lot of inside jokes for the members, like *mY HaNds CarrY Em* is a refrence to when tae forget his line during a performance,(there are three verions of mic drop, korean, japanese and english) and if i remember correctly tae accidently sang the english line when it was the japanese version? I could be wrong on which language the mixup in. Also, jimin-ssi translates to like Mr.Jimin in english. So jimin just started laughing at being called Mr. Jimin

Actually you know that Jungkook is younger than Jimin and that in Korean you have to be respectful with other and call them names from respect like Jungkook have to say "Jimin hyung" but is an inside joke that Jungkook call Jimin "Jimin-shi" in a way to tease him from not using honorific. So Jungkook be calling "Jimin-shi" randomly just to tease him and Jimin we always be like"USE HONORIFIC" in his satoori accent. Hahahaha

Personally, I love the "You nice, keep going!" phrase for several reasons: 1) Jimin is always hard on hoimself, but here he is encouraging and saying he is doing great; 2) it is always difficult and scary for most of the people to express themselves in another language, but here Jimin did it great, I mean, grammatically he was wrong, but everybody understood what he was trying to say, and that is the purpose of language, communication; 3) he is just cute!
Anyway, my favorite feature used to be my hands, untel I got arthritis, so now it is my smile. And my profile picture IT IS an old anime (1995) Gundam Wing XD. I just love handsome guys!

I’ve always felt that people usually come for the music/performances yet stay for their personalities (and their music/performances). They are truly some of the funniest, most humble guys and while many of their interviews can seem awkward and pretty condescending, their chemistry and natural charm are undeniable. That’s why we have so many inside jokes and sayings. Just wait until you start inserting fandom sayings into everyday conversations. Then you’re pretty much in this Bangtan Sonyeondan shxt for life.

Some of the parts you were confused about didn't even have anything to understand lmao,,, they're just that weird sometimes (sometimes=most of the time pfff) and you usually dont need to have the subtitles on for these compilations so dont worry about it
But yeah! I agree with some comments saying that these american interviews are usually very boring to them and stuff, since the same questions are repeated over and over again and the interviewers keep trying to be funny (which sometimes is forced imo, but whatever). Definitely, compilations of the guys just,, being themselves without any prompting from interviewers and such are a lot funnier and most of tHE MEMES COME FROM THOSE so yeee :p

These boys have such chaotic energy, I love it haha Btw, have people told you about their variery show Run BTS? It's hilarious and a guaranteed mood lifter. They compete in all kinds of games and boy do they get into it lol
Its always fun to see the chaos in these interviews but I really like the interviews this year. They actually focused on the music and artistry. Plus, the interviews had subs so the guys could speak comfortably.
In my humble opinion, there's never a wrong time or place to point out the fact that Donald Glover is brilliant.
Don't feel bad about being confused with parts of this video. There's a lot that's taken out of context for comedic purposes so it may not make a lot of sense for non/newer fans. To be honest, you do much better than most, so.. "you nice, keep going".
Btw, when Jimin said that, they'd just been asked "what would you like to say to your younger selves?". Every time he gets that question Jimin answers something along those lines. He used to be way too hard on himself and demand too much out of himself, to the point that he stopped enjoying things. So he consistently expresses how much he''d like to reassure his younger self that, even if things weren't perfect, he should be proud of his efforts. I think that's why we like that phrase so much; it's not gramatically perfect but conveys the message well.

I used to live in the Greater LA area & mentioned it in the first BTS video, that plus us currently being on Pacific time, now makes everyone think I live in Cali lol
@@AmariLeone okay that's what I thought. For a minute there, I thought my memory was worse than I thought. 😂
Actually this year (as you've seen in the past reaction = 2018) was when BTS was winning many awards and breaking records, so everyone wanted them to be on their show. But the thing is that the interviewers didn't know how to prepare for them, it was so awkward. They kept repeating questions from every show, like they all just prepared the same sets of questions. It is actually funnier if you've seen so many of their other interviews from that year because then you'd realize that their answers in this compilation were actually troll answers, they just try to have fun with the situation. Seriously, every single one of the interviews asked "what is your favorite feature on yourself?". At some point, they just stopped answering seriously and just do or say random stuff. 😂 It got a bit better the next year (2019), not much (that year almost every single interview asked who their celebrity crush is), but at least they were a bit more comfortable. Also, the crack videos of BTS Run/Bon Voyage, Namjoon being done with BTS' english, BTS being chaotic by Pinkkoya, or seokjin myfeels compilations are soooo much funnier because it's just them being themselves and comfortable. (Also, the whole group are weebs too. Especially V and JK.)

There's actually a bunch of celebrities that became fans of BTS and it wasn't because of ARMY. John Cena and Matthew McConaughey are some of them. There's also Ansel Elgort (he went to Korea and hung out with V and RM), Cardi B might be a fan (we're still not sure), No Way Jose (the wrestler) is also a HUGE fan, etc. There are a lot of celebrity fans and we're all happy to have them :)
I just binge watched all of your videos lmao. I really enjoy your reactions! I like how you keep it real and also try to understand BTS on a deeper level. I’ve been a fan of BTS for about 5-6 years now so I love seeing and hearing fresh opinions from people who don’t know them but are discovering them in a different time than I did. BTS has been my ultimate group for years, but my second favorite group of all time is VIXX. As far as I know, ARMY and Starlights(VIXX fandom) don’t have any tension or fan wars between them so I would love to see you react to them at some point!(not saying you can’t react to them if the fandoms did have beef just saying it would be chill if you did) VIXX is super underrated and I would love to see your opinion of their music. They don’t have nearly as much fan-made content as BTS (because they are smaller) but they are also super amazing performers and are actually known as the “concept kings of kpop” because of their amazing themed music videos :) If you wanna react to something dark I suggest VIXX - Voodoo Doll but if not then VIXX - Error is really good too! Both of those songs are kinda older but they’re both legendary! Of course I know you’re going through and learning BTS rn so I don’t expect you to react to VIXX but i thought I’d suggest them because BTS and VIXX are the two groups that helped me through my toughest times. 😊 Anyways, I hope you feel better and I’ll continue to watch your videos when you come out with new ones!

The BTS with the Mess (radio station) is one of our fav interviews lol. They made the guys feel so comfy and had so much fun wih them lol. The song they were singing is something I think the radio host do in their interviews just to be silly lol. With John Cena being Army we actually didnt know until he started posting hobi pics on Ig bout 2 years ago lol. We all like hold up what is happening lol
I’ve personally grown to despise this video lol it’s just... the interviews are clearly awkward-they ask the same damn dumb questions. Like, why the heck are we gonna ask some grown celebrities what’s their favorite thing about the other person, is this a marriage counseling session? I can’t stand it.
Ya know why I don’t like these old American interview videos? All this humor is awkwardly forced. I think they’re naturally funny, so their compilation videos of them just being them are probably the best things on the internet.
I don’t know WHY people still recommend this video, cuz these old American interviews sucked. But idk, maybe the charm of it all is that most of them barely understand what’s going on?

idk, maybe its cause I'm American, but I still really enjoy their interviews and this video and the editing is what really makes it for me. the questions don't really bother me cause it was during Love Yourself so it seems natural, but again maybe its cause I'm American and used to seeing interviews conducted in such a way. either way, I'm excited to see him react to it and I hope you enjoy it as well
Micah McKinnie I’m American too-I think it’s just more cringy for me because I’ve seen so much of their content in Korea that it’s like “reverse culture shock” for me lol imagine. But I also just thought most of their interviewers were clout chasing, so the lack of research really showed. Didn’t like the disrespect. That’s really the only thing I have to complain about. But their recent US appearances have been much more genuine on the interviewer’s parts. This video’s just old. 😩 I guess you gotta show people the “iconic” videos lol
