Hey I’m going through this at the moment I know this is a really noob question but for some reason I don’t have the extract option do I need something specific downloaded to my computer?
I would have thought the Xbox series X/S could just update on its own without going through what you just did.. That is going to be hard for me considering I don't have a computer nor a laptop to do the offline update ...
Some can and some can't. Even if they can, though, you won't get the optimisations. In effect, you'll be getting the Xbox One version of the game - as I currently understand it. I am looking into this at the moment with the intention of making a video about it.
My series x won't recognize the USB 3.0 stick... This is VERY curious.. This series x will not accept USB update and this console will not go to home screen, at all. It's starts up, and says it needs update. It searches and then does nothing. Says Internet issue. I've tried hard wiring it.. Same thing.. Changed out WiFi card, no difference.. it just won't fully start up..
@@luisrenta2550 I was mistaken on my USB stick, it wasn't 3.0. so I bought the proper one and it recognized it and went through the steps, but it still won't fully start up..I checked the SSD and it's healthy..I tore it down and sold it off for parts.

As I said in the description, this is for if you can’t update normally for some reason. It’s basically for if things go wrong.

If it’s the wrong OS, I doubt it’ll work.
