[Premiere] Severe Kratima (1453)

Fragment of sight-reading of a kratima composed by Chrysaphis in honor of St Nicholas, whose feast begins today. While the main reasons for which everyone loves St Nicholas (his kindness, generosity, charity), and while his strongly austere personality and lifestyle are less known, it is of crucial theological importance that he clarified the dispute about the Lord's consubstantiation with the Father - [ὁμοούσιος] - which is fundamental to Christian dogma, as stated in the Gospel of John.
