i'm just on my way to the yard..it's time for me to pick the daikon radish harvest...had no idea one can mash them! i'm going to try this as well as fermenting some. this is my first year of growing them as i'm a radish lover..i really had no idea they got THIS big! thanks for the idea Mr Whitaker.

Tracy, have you tried celery root? Now I will NEVER miss potatoes. Celery root can cost a lot but to me it us the MOST close to potatoes in texture minus the carbs.

I know I'm watching this a year later, but adding a teaspoon of xanthan gum will also help thicken it nicely and not add carbs.

Yes! I think I actually have a celery root video on my TH-cam video page. I made a soup out of celery root last year I think!
Nice way of cooking this radish but what about the vitamins inside! Wouldn’t boiling kill most of them!

That's a blender, not a food processor. The size and blades are different. A blender will make things too mushy.

don't boil raw onion...ever. Always saute first.
Spices aren't supposed to change the color of the dish, way too heavy handed there.
