They did it the hard way. It’s easier to stand just underneath him while facing as far left as possible but still keeping Koin facing right. Throw it at the left wall and it’ll bounce up to hit him in the back. Much easier than constantly running back and forth every time.
U can also do it this way, have dixie or kiddie getting hit by that thing while you are pretty close to the wall so you can jump directly without have to do that tricky jump.

I dunno why, but i like this solution to get DK coins instead of Diddy's kong quest
Soo glad I found this video...here stuck at the end of a PITA level,&didn't know the name to look it up...&I know seeing that barrels roll on the spiders web saved me a ton of grief🤣
when u kill the crocodile ( i dont remember his name...its the final boss) in the secret world...he gives u a dk coin...so i dont know but it could be the 41st coin that u are searching for XD
this is an excellent video, although i have a suggestion. if it isnt too much trouble i'd suggest you use annotations or maybe time guides in the description of a listing of levels. that would be far more convenient than having to guess the level i'm looking at
also, do you need dixie for krevece kreepers ( 4:01 ) ? i'm trying it with kiddy and cant get to the other side in time. speaking of which, how did the hit in this video even count? lol
do you use my snes is already saved the game with 40 dk coins? put him on any server to download please ta hard to catch the 40 dk coins you use to save f2 and f3 to give me load there is please

You basically have to roll off an edge with Kiddy and hit B right before he hits the water, and you will need to do that twice. The timing is tricky so lots of practice is going to be needed.
Stand underneath Koin and move as far left as possible while keeping him facing right. Throw the barrel at the left wall, which should bounce off and hit Koin.
