Great vid! I love this particular series that Scalextric did. These cars are simple. Extremely durable. And right now... I am picking these up at a rapid clip - for $30 bucks a piece!! Man.... you just can't beat it. I think they look great. Obviously you can't compare them to a $75 to $100 car. But for what you get, and for the durability factor.... man I love this series! Esp love the white and the Black and Gold Thunderbirds. The Monte Carlos not quite as much, and don't look quite as real to me.... for what I am going for. Late 80s / Early 90s type theme. The Chevys look early 80s to me. But I'm going to pick at least one of those up.... maybe 2... to add to this set. I'm going to grab a couple white no branding Fords as well.... and paint them and add decals. Fun stuff!! Great vid. I subbed you.
The cars themselves are fine , but the generic markings are terrible , Scalextric has long been known for the accuracy of their models , these are not accurate and some retailers are charging what they should , others are charging the same full retail as fully licensed cars . They should have made the cars accurate , and the total generic cars they are making is a sad joke !
Disagree. I understand your point, about keeping it real. But Scalextric offers a billion of those. For me.... I am in love with this particular series, since I can pick them up for $30 bucks a piece, and run them like heck. And they look to me like late 80s stock cars. I could care less about the branding on them. I buy plenty of other cars to get the fancy branding, and I think this series is refreshing. Love the $30 price tag, and free delivery!

LOVE the Monte Carlo's and the Tbirds. Would love to see the Pontiac 2+2's and the Buick Skylark's of the era as well.

Found a seller selling them for $30 bucks delivered...new. Is that a fair price?
