Bravo! Well done in the finest traditions of Fire Services around the world. A wonderful example of excellent management of resources and decision making. To accomplish this with no Firefighter casualties is superb.

Hats off to all the firefighters and everyone involved in the saving and rebuilding of this great church, symbol and monument, hats off to all the people who came there to pray for them and for the cathedral, and hats off to Monsieur Lancon and the crew for making this truly gripping documentary. God bless you all.
I watched this on the news here in America. I have always wanted to go to France. Notre Dame was on my list. So I watched as the fire grew. I felt it in my soul, and prayed that Notre Dame would be spared. The people singing and praying in the streets was very touching. When the spire fell, I gasped too. I could not believe what I was seeing. We almost lost a treasure. I still plan to go see the “Lady.”
Fire Lieutenant Laren was the Star of the show , without him I don’t think they could have saved our Catholic Cathedral Amazing stuff reminds me so much of 9/11 here in New York City , we did not have the technology and education foresight of today to help our Firefighters RIP!!!!
The white smoke - the wood was very old and bone dry - in old days the churches often went up in flames because of the dry wood - have been in the church several times - I hope the rebuild will make it more beautiful than it was before ..
@ericyvonyv6188 an improperly extinguished cigarette was one of the two likely causes according to the investigators, the other was an electrical short circuit.
Oh ffs stop looking for conspiracy in everything these are old buildings with a huge amount of wood and other combustible materials . Things burn and accidents happen . Do all who have broken their legs on the left side fall under the same logic 😅😅
That stuff weighs a lot and so does water so dropping that from an aircraft at speed would cause a lot more issues than it would help like a full collapse of the building
Watching this and all the citizens cherishing and mourning their history and monuments really makes me sad for America and Americans today, we are bred to hate our country and history.

Tonight , the doors of the cathedral is opened . A mass is held honoring our lady . It always amaze me the beauty of humanity ❤️

Im just wondering where the fire ceme from. Or what the cause of the fire!?
Maybe banning cigarette smoking by workers inside historic building works would beca great start.
Fumez pas!
Was not a cigarette. But whatever rock your boat

It’s just a coincidence that it has happened to many churches all across Western Europe,
And Canada.

And synagogues in the US. All around the same time
Why was there no ability to dump fire stopping materials from the air ?
sheer weight of the dumped materiel could have crushed the walls or sturcture
That stuff weighs a lot and so does water so dropping that from an aircraft at speed would cause a lot more issues than it would help like a full collapse of the building

PRESIDENT OBUMMER TO BLAME.
Obama hasn't been president since January 2017. How he is to blame?
Accuse me of being politically incorrect, but wasn't a male wearing a Muslim hat seen walking on the roof of Notre Dame as the fire started? 🤔
QUE
sure was and it's called MOSSAD, but something tells me you already know that
@@robbieandkimberly No I didn't already now that and do not believe it.
Wtf you mean a Muslim hat
Dont start with your racist accusations
They stole all that jewelry from Africa. Why are they crying..
It’s not stealing , if you are unable to invent the process to retrieve it.
CRY
From Africa? What have you been smoking ?
Oops ! Another idiot ^^

Why the hell did you close a door behind you ? Worst freakin mistake ever
I really dont understand these french firefighting tactics
they didn't. the blast of the collapsing tower closed the doors. mayble listen a bit better next time
@ was talking about the attic door
Was this the weird white smoke fire not the normal black smoke with the heads of apostles cut off previously? Whoops, this came later? :-)
