Way to go on passing 700 miles and bagging the Dragon's Tooth. I have also climbed out on the tooth, which is really more like a diving board jutting out at a 30-degree angle over open space. Not for those with any fear of heights. Good luck on the remaining two parts of the crown, including the famous photo op at McAfee Knob. That will be the next video!
Glad you climbed Dragon's Tooth. I had trail magic while at the top. A young man gave me a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich. LOL It was a great day.
Morning Taylor! Congrats on 700! Man what a beautiful sunrise! Those extra few miles to that site were so worth it! I love how 19 miles is a “relaxed” day lol. Morning David. Come to NH if only for the summer. You'll love it. 70's and sunny today. Makes me want to get out and do some hiking. Suppose to be patchy fog tomorrow morning. Dragon's Tooth looked amazing. I want to get up to Franconia Notch and hike up to The Watcher. There's at least one spot on the hike up that is pretty much like the scramble on Dragon's Tooth.
Even though I haven't climbed Franconia Ridge I have been up there many, many times (photography) and know what you are talking about. It does seem like it'd been like the Dragon's Tooth. Different views of Franconia Notch though instead of the wide sweeping valleys of Va.

Yes I know how you felt on top of Dragons Tooth. Death off of both sides if you fall. When I was up there a huge bee was attacking me at the same time as trying to safely get down. Hey 700 miles before you know it you'll be at Harpers Ferry!!!
You're right it was a male voice. Right about the time he made that big drop. I wanted to see how he managed that. Didn't notice that he was barefoot until you mentioned it. Probably stepped on a sharp rock when he dropped.
I liked the part where you showed climbing down off Dragon's Tooth. Just wished I had seen how he managed that big drop (cut before he dropped). Looked really hairy. Up is fine with me but it's the down that's hard to do. Know how you felt on the top clinging on for dear life. You are showing different meals and trail foods. Are you getting them at Outfitters ? Just wondering if they are available in stores along the trail. I'm interested in what is available for resupply in the towns on trail. No one ever shows that.

Hard to tell for sure on video, but I think the lizard was a skink. They are chameleons, they turn to the color they are on.
