I am a house plant collector. I currently have around 120 plants in my collection. I also have a few faux ones of plants that I love, but that my conditions are not right for growing them currently.

I love to incorporate nature into my home design too. Just a tip, I'm no expert, but when you are talking your eyes are not "looking at us". Somewhere online, I remember hearing that there is a place to look so it appears you are looking at your audience.

Thanks for sharing, I love the let your space evolve because as I get older my style change. I do okay with plants once in a while I have to rehab some of them

I'm a master gardener, so live plants only. However, not too many. I don't want to live in a jungle. Lol

Both of my late parents were Master Gardeners. They lived in San Diego, CA. They didn't really do house plants, but had a couple of shade houses. They grew so many different plants, except the ones like tulips that need a period of cold.

I think a home should look good naked first. In it's empty state, it still should be beautiful. Later the beauty is enhanced with the furnishings and pieces.

I’m often the one vintage piece per room 👵🏼

Oh awesome! Yes I love the character that vintage pieces (or art) can bring to a room. What is your favorite place to source vintage items?

Just find the best plant for the conditions of the room. Study it's care and feeding. Get several of them. If you have space for a fake plant your place is too big.

I love plants but outside only- my pets cannot be around live plants other than some wheat grass or similar/ they will eat everything and toxic plants will not work in my decor so faux it is❤

Only non-toxic plants (and there are a lot of them) are within my cats' reach. Any toxic plants are either hung up or on shelves that my cats are not interested in reaching) climbing.

Where do you get yours from? I'm a huge fan of HomeGoods for artificial plants - they usually have very realistic ones!
