They moved on from their "School Trilogy" where they sang about teens and their dreams to sing about "youth" and young adulthood. The "give up on 'n'" is a phrase/term that was coined in the early 2010s to describe the harsh realities (such as unemployment) that young adults in Korea had to face . "Give up on 3" was initially used to point out how young adults were forced to give up on dating, marriage, and having a child. The phrase evolved to "Give up on 5" which added employment and housing and so on. RM also does a wordplay there because "Give up on 6" or "Yookpo" also means beef jerky.

I love this song so much i cosplayed as Jimin from this MV and did the Dope dance at a local comic con near me and i had fun. Also i love how Jimin and Jungkook bounced of eachother, with their voices. Jimin in this MV is why i love a man in uniform, i love Jimins voice and i also love his highnotes aswell but his character is the one i love, this is partly the reason Jimin is my ultimate kpop bias. This song is totally Dope (see what i did there lol)

I didn't make it through the first time. I went back at age 50. First class we must take. Adult Learning Theory. We learn different as adults. I took to heart what all I learned and got straight A's except one mandatory math class. My degree is in Theatre, English and Communication. Class every morning. Homework every afternoon at the library. Theatre every evening! I was so busy, but I loved it!. Yes, go for the gold....at your young age. Ha.

@@jenjin9492 I'm not Korean, but I'm also sad that I can't understand Korean bc it meant I couldn't communicate with/get to know relatives from Korea (I'm Korean-American), i sort of felt judged by my parents so I assumed any Korean relatives would judge me even more so kind of swept everything under the rug and BTS helped me get rid of some baggage and be more interested in Korean language my Korean heritage etc.

"They practice all the time" I think is a complete understatement. As i enjoy their journey, i look back to the years i missed. Interviews, variety shows, docus, etc, it made me realize that these young men took "hardwork, perseverance & dedication" to the core of their heart. I am not sure what yeae that was, 2020 or 2021, a statement made by the company saying they'll be having a break. 2nd break since their debut. Imagine the hardwork. And from their 1st interviews, speeches uo to the present on their vlive after grammys, the line "we will work harder" is consistently being used by these men. They dont settle for what they have now, they strive hard to beat their own selves. If they met their goal, they set a new one. I was never a fan of kpop, i dont really connect with other groups, it's only bts. They found me. Beyonf the great music they produce, i am so connected with their story and personality ❤️
