If you think that lut gaye by jubin was the first remake of aankh uthi then let me tell you that shrey singhal made its remake first but deleted due to copyright, changed the hook line and rereleased it. Surprisingly t series did it without any copyright issue...

I know that your perception of music has significantly changed since you began to delve into Indian music, but in all seriousness no band is as good as Wagakki Band. Many a times in the past Pakistani singers used to have Indian or foreign distributors. It's like buying the song from the singer and selling it to the audience. In the past singers didn't have much awareness about it as well. Even today it's a huge problem. And yeah it's exploitation. Even some Indian singers have left Tseries. I heard Ali Azmat in a podcast explaining about this was even saying that for that reason Atif too now doesn't work with Tseries much.
