So helpful. I start NP school fall through an online program due to it being cheaper and more flexible as well. But I’m glad about NP hub. I am hoping my old job I was an MA for 5 years they are a teaching clinic and host both MD student residency and also NP and PA students from local schools they are contracted with. I spoke with someone from HR and they told me just check back in when you are closer to your program start and we can see if we have space and we can get a contract going if we don’t have one with them. Then also my son see a pediatric NP for his Care and she specializes in pediatric mental health that’s why I go to her so she can manage my sons ADHD. But she said if she isn’t busy that she would host me. So just pray because if I get those 2 it’s only womens health I have

Hey Cherie! So adult/internal med typically sees patients 18-21 and up from there and don’t see pediatrics where as family practices will see all ages including pediatrics!
@@feefee42 The different clinical sites had different fees depending on the length of stay/how many hours you need per specialty for your program so it ranged from a couple hundred on, depending on the rates of the preceptor. Hope that helps!
