Hi George, I really recommend "Diary of a young naturalist" if you haven't read it already. Dara McAnuntly expresses being an autistic teenager who loves nature as he transitions one year of his life with such incredibly raw, personal, beautiful, and relatable (at least for me) writing. It really gives you another perception of the world. Most recommended xx

I'm partially sighted but really enjoy birdwatching (or birdlistening mostly), so "birdwatching with your eyes closed" is definitely a book i will be giving a go. Love your videos as they help me to experience parts of birding that i couldn't otherwise

I haven't read the Genius of birds but her next book The Bird Way is equally full of interesting studies and facts. It really made me look at birds in a different way, not so northern-hemisphere centered...

Ooh I'm glad you enjoyed it, I got it for christmas but haven't made a start on it yet. I found out recently she has a new one out about Owls which I would also be excited to read 🦉

I can really recommend the book of trespass, about the right to roam. An illustrator tresspasses on different big landowners propertys and draws them. It has a narrative but is also super factual and informing about history of landownership and right of way history in the UK. A history i knew very little about.

Thank you for the recommendations. Some of them sound really good and your photo is beautiful. Have you read The Puma Years? I think you may enjoy it.
