I LOVE IT!!!! It looks way better than my Beloved 2014 Tesla!!!! Makes me remember my 1960s Toyota Corona and VW Beetle!!!! Hope to see it in full production soon!!!! Way to go!!!!
Don’t be fooled. This car has Augmented Reality HUD on the windshield and uses voice first command and controls. In addition, this is smartphone tethered cockpit with always on CarPlay which I assume will be displayed on the HUD.
I love it! A more Gattaca-oriented version of the future where technology is present but not in your face... That's certainly more my speed. My existing car is from 2006 and doesn't even have an Aux audio jack... Which is just one level less of technology than I like....
That's interesting, the toys made for rich people. That's ok, the rest of us economicly challenged will just keep riding our bicycles. Thanks for your concern. 🤷🙆🙋
Finally a modern car with excellent all-round vision! Like the light engineering on the suspension components to, wishing you much success and hopefully the price will come down to improve your chances.
Take a look at Subaru 360 and you'll see a lot of similarities. That's not a complaint. I think Olympian serves as an important reminder that when trying to decarbonize transportation, less is more.
hopefully for $60,000 and $80,000 they aren't shipping it with office building door handles, yeesh. Either way, this is awesome, I hope the absolute best for them. So many cars nowadays have so much complexity, it's nice to see Olympian is making all the effort to provide a much simpler and electrified alternative.
Low back seats, no head rests, no airbags, no seat belts, no side marker lights, suicide doors, and side windows too big to roll down into the tiny doors but, display screens are not safe. 😂
I read somewhere on their website that it has 9 airbags and it makes up for no screen with AR (augmented reality) HUD and voice first command and control using their own IOS. I’ll bet the manual book for the voice commands is thick. There website claims that use real wood in the interior. This is Smartphone Tethered cockpit with “always on” CarPlay. Even if there is no screen, they worked around it with AR HUD, voice first command and control, and smartphone required for CarPlay. This is ridiculous if you get rock chip that damages the windshield which could be a costly expense.
Interesting. I have been wondering when a 2CV type minimalist EV might evolve. Retro in design but modern quietly lurking under the skin. This is in that direction.
That is an absolutely gorgeous automobile (BEV)! Like some of the other commenters below, you need to do something with the interior interms of safety. It is a blast from the past, but I am tired of seeing oversized & ugly SUVs and Trucks. I wonder what is the drag coefficient of such a classy car. I am a BEV owner and I would definitely buy this car.
I would like an electric car but without the remote controls held by the manufacturer, no OnStar shutdown b.s. can I have a new car that will not choose to lock the doors on its own. Maybe one that will let me wander into the next lane when I feel like it? Lanes are a concept people!
DON”T FOOLED. This is still a Tesla like vehicle with the following exceptions. This car uses Augmented Reality (AR) HUD Instead of head unit (monitors). This car uses Voice first command and control instead of buttons. This is a rear wheeled drive car with a 0-60 in 5.7 secs and is 310 equivalent HP. This is a Smartphone tethered cockpit with always on CarPlay. I sincerely hope that I don’t have to use Voice commands to open the windows. OMG do I have use voice commands to turn the heat on? This uses real wood, cashmere, and silk in the interior. This is high end materials. OMG if the interior materials wear out, the cost could be expensive.
That car is definitely a BEV and it looks like a fine work of art! I would suggest modernizing the interior similar to the Tesla including a big control screen. Whoever is the designer his car is a functional work of art. Beautiful design 👍🏾 This car reminds me of a my Mother putting on her best for Sunday Church service.
Don’t be fooled. This car has Augmented Reality HUD on the windshield and uses voice first command and controls. In addition, this is smartphone tethered cockpit with always on CarPlay which I assume will be displayed on the HUD.
$80 thousand dollars! enough said. I'm so tired of being disappointed by this market! Finally an EV I would consider buying and well it's for the rich!
Don’t be fooled. This car has Augmented Reality HUD on the windshield and uses voice first command and controls. In addition, this is smartphone tethered cockpit with always on CarPlay which I assume will be displayed on the HUD.

Man I knew those pictures I saw of this car in advertisements were AI. The wheels don't match what I've seen in ads...nor does the interior or fit and finish of doors. Did yall see that house style door striker and handle?? 🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂
Hmm, i like the design idea, but jesus who picked up the colour concept? Ugly has hell, ruined the form of the car which also could be way more consistent. As said, i like the idea but that thing looks just not right, not figured out enough. To enter the market with success, it needs to be almost perfect. A bombshell.
Don’t be fooled. This car has Augmented Reality HUD on the windshield and uses voice first command and controls. In addition, you need a Smartphone to use Apple CarPlay which I assume will be displayed on the HUD.
This is low quality: door cards, wheel trims, door surrounds, those door handles, AND a cleft lip. Looks like it came from a shed. Sorry, but they really need to up their game or they're going nowhere fast
Is this a joke? (or fraud scheme) That prototype looks like a high school kid built it in his garage with household junk and a golf cart chassis You really should’ve asked some “tough” questions in this interview here John, take this fraudster to task…
$60-$80k? Cool concept but these are gonna be the way the original Fiskers went. I just ordered from factory a 2024 Audi Allroad Prestige & look at everything that comes with compared to this. It's no just all screens either. Now tbf it's not an EV but look at Hyundai's EVs, or the new Fiskers? They're at $60k tops & come with way more, plus actual modern features like usable rear room, headrests, airbags, infotainment etc. This is just goofy at that price point. You could hear the presenter choke up saying it too 😂
$80,000 is a lot of money for a simple electric car . When my wife ordered a 2021 Bronco Base ( Not the Bronco Sport ) for $28,000 . Then waiting for over a year to get it . But Ford did right . They sent us the 2022 one for the same cost . Now they are $38.000 for the base . If they made a base model and not look for the vary rich to buy their cars they would sell more . The only people that would buy one of these . Are young starting out adults , Older single people , The elderly single or couples with no kids , This car would be great for these people . Here is a thing about electric cars that is and alway will be a problem . The Batteries . What these electric car companies will not tell you is that Batteries dont do well in cold weather . Not on bit . The batteries will fall in amps as tempitures drop . This prosses starts to drop anything below 60 F and falls completely flat at 10 f . As the temps drop the battieries will become weaker . They also dont like heat ether . Heat will kill batteries or will shorten the life of them . The best temps is 90 F down to 60 F . Now Cold weather wont damage batteries or should not damage them . Just heat . I talked a little bit about AMPS of a battery . AMPS is like a fuel tank in a gas car . The more amps a battery have the farther or longer you can go . So if lets say if a electric car can travel 100 miles on 100 AMPS at a temp of 60 degrees F . Then with 200 AMPS a car can travel the distance of 200 miles at 60 degrees F . If people realizes this people then people would not buy electic cars or trucks . But as long as they knew this before buying an electric car then their should be no complants . I really dont know why people complain about their electric cars anyway . They should have known this with all batteries including Lead acid batts . AMPS just drops in cold weather with all batteries . The batteries will do this sense they was invented . LOL
Wow. Whole lotta spin there. While I like retro this is crude and poorly designed and built. Mirrors on sticks? Looks like a high school project at best.
I agree with the co-founder. We need more aesthetic cars. Every car looks the same on the road.
and passion.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Fantastic, hope to see more like this. This is exactly the right approach.
Coolest BEV I have seen in a while.
I LOVE IT!!!! It looks way better than my Beloved 2014 Tesla!!!! Makes me remember my 1960s Toyota Corona and VW Beetle!!!! Hope to see it in full production soon!!!! Way to go!!!!
Finally a car with a sense of style. Screw the screens.
Don’t be fooled. This car has Augmented Reality HUD on the windshield and uses voice first command and controls. In addition, this is smartphone tethered cockpit with always on CarPlay which I assume will be displayed on the HUD.

Interesting. And good luck, they're gonna need it.
…..there are PLENTY of eccentric rich people who’ll buy it!
They're gonna need another car to sell.

You forgot at 1:30 you can see they are using a strike plate from a house to keep the car door closed....lmao
You mean you actually have to drive it. Perfection
Good concept
I want this car❤
They need a swift kick in the britches for not prepping those tires on the display car.
Simplify! Great.
Interesting. I have been wondering when a 2CV type minimalist EV might evolve. Retro in design but modern quietly lurking under the skin. This is in that direction.
I love the Home Depot closet door handles that they use!
At $60k #326 is me. I'll even pick it up from (no sleep 'til) Brooklyn....
Looks like a xk 120 jag with a vw bug on top.
My exact perception! And then that combo hit a wall a 45 mph. Like fender mirrors, but look to close to A pillar, re: vision blockage?

And if you’re in an accident and need an airbag, no problem. It’s in the glove compartment.
Love it ❤❤❤
LOVE IT!
Erin bey sounds like he's from Turkey. Good luck with your US venture.

I thought I had seen everything but apparently not. How did they even get floor space at CES? 🤷🏻♂
i want an atompunk ev car. this is perfectly fine as a throw back to the beetle

What does its exterior design say about the buyer? It makes me say “doesn’t make good decisions”

This car is straight from a cartoon car movie 😂 😂 😂 😂
❤️
Anti-screen design is interesting. But wait! How could you sell to Spotify generations? Too minimal is sometimes too much.
Don’t be fooled. This car has Augmented Reality HUD on the windshield and uses voice first command and controls. In addition, this is smartphone tethered cockpit with always on CarPlay which I assume will be displayed on the HUD.
There design department is housed at the local primary school
Aren't backup cameras required?
From the front it reminds me of the 1938 Buick Y-Job concept car with the rest a Volkswagen Beetle. Cute, but not practical.
I am going to guess that is a prototype, i.e. not the same as the end-product. Safety concerns are many, not to mention crash-testing!
It's an early prototype!
@@olympianmotors Also known has a "honey trap for EV investors".
$60k and $80k ???? Are they crazy, it looks like a $10k car.
That's what it cost to make I bet.
Fantasy on display. History is full of fantasy car projects that en with one or a handful cars in a museums!
Door looks thin

Looks better than the Tesla Truck.
honestly the designs for both models kinda suck. they need to create more designs
I already look too much like Peewee Herman. This would seal my fate for sure 😅.
You could drive it to the movies. ;-)
I would rather convert a used A8 than buy this.
I sure hate all the screens that we see in modern EV's. This is fun. However, the green/silver paint job is ghastly.
I miss my blackberry too lol

No.
will go bankrupt unless they actually modernize this thing
