@@Beringyachts make it happen Alexei, I am really interested in the B120 because the on deck accommodations means my mother doesn't need to climb stairs to and from her on deck accommodations.

@@JohnHansen-zl4gl Not joking, although I wouldnt mind seeing a 145 with this style layout where the master is on the upper deck. Or keep the bridge where it is and make the sun deck partially enclosed with windows and doors that can open when in warmer climates instead of relying on isenglass (plastic enclosing) when in artic or colder places. I would be a live aboard so the master on the main deck forward doesnt do it for me.
@@jonstundralife5897 I too like the B120 layout because it also offers ondeck accommodations for those that can't climb stairs, like my mother. When you look at climate changed and take into consideration of the condition of the planet Earth. Practically every day of the World a disaster is happening. Outrageous terrifying fires in Hawaii, Canada, California. All around Europe. Earthquakes. Volcano eruptions. Two and Three tornadoes running side by side for hundreds of miles at a time. And the hurricanes demolishing thousands of homes. The unbearable heat causing for the past three years so many yachts to literally burn and sink. I should think a yacht like your Bering 120 Explorer with all the superb luxury would without a doubt appeal to millionaires. With a big mansion on the seashore, Bering Explorer tied to dock waiting to take them anywhere they wanted to go. Not limited to travel as the luxurious yachts that can't go to the ice when and if necessary. After all it is about survival. And why not in a home away from home !!?
Truly an incredible yacht. Bering Yachts are above and beyond most if not all other builders fort many reasons in my opinion. I have been looking for the right yacht for almost 16 years and when I saw a Bering Yacht for the first time, you blew me away. For me, it's not only what you see, but more importantly, what you "CAN'T" see, snd when I saw your buildout process from many videos, I knew I'd found what I had been looking for all of this time. The 145 as well as the 120 & 125 are what I have interest it. I hope to visit your Ft. Lauderdale office in the near future. I'll be contacting you soon..Thanks, JB
Remarkable how you can fit so much internal volume into a 120 foot vessel while keeping the center of gravity low. I've had my eye on the Benetti B.YOND 37 for a long time, but this is probably more of a Mediterranean cruiser due to the center of gravity being too high. It's also nice that there's enough space for the crew. The Bering 120 is a perfect explorer with a chase boat. Two more jet skis, scuba equipment and a few water toys in the beach club and you're ready to go.
What a beauty and I love that color what is it I would love to know thank you Bering we will hopefully be coming down to the shipyard in 2024 on holiday and see what we like
Really like the look of this one but I'd still prefer to stay in the under 24m class with a B88. I wish the B88's flybridge could be closed in like the B120 though.
I bet these have significantly gone up in price. Remember when the 140 was first being built? I had joked it cost 30 million and Victoria said it was only 23 million and even with outfitting the yacht and crew it still would be well below 30 million. Well not today. Bering is still a lot more 'affordable' than their competitors, but the price of yachts from them as they have become more popular have gone way up. A 140 now, would cost over 30 million base. You can argue inflation, material costs, etc but as Bering has expanded into the smaller fishing line, the new catamarans and now redoing their existing line up, the prices have far exceeded inflationary adjustments. Which good for them, they are giving more people the option to own the safest boats available. However, I do blame Victoria and Rico. Even though we are friendly with each other, I think the reason everything went up is because of them making Bering so popular. I think they overhype the drama around their build and create controversies that don't exist, or are off hand troll comments, but that will segue into showing off more of what Bering is and what they will do for an owner, thus further increasing their popularity
Rico and Victoria are content creators. Of course they ham it up a little, but I think you're putting too much on them and being overly critical of them. They can pitch a product till the cows come home, but at the end of the day Bering's superior product is what is causing popularity and prices to go up. Bering's were so ridiculously below market value in cost that I think they realized they could improve their margins a little. Good for them. Buyers are still getting a great deal from what I can tell. This 120 is direct competitor to the class leading 37m Benetti Byond, and I bet you it's still cheaper. In fact, I think they designed it to compete with the Byond and be more affordable on purpose.
@@jonstundralife5897 People buying this boat don't get caught up in hype. This is probably not their first yacht. Bering is still competing with Benetti, Rosetti and a host of other explorer yachts. Bering will not price themself out regardless of what TH-cam creators say.
@@TChalla007 I agree with everything except the last sentence. No one is saying Bering has priced themselves out of the market. The OP was blaming these youtube creators for the price increases he believes to be beyond inflationary because they made bering popular. That's quite a stretch.

Jusst under 500GT...that's a ton of space! That's more than tne 125 was originally. I like that they offer 2 different versions of this, but just like Numarine, there haven't really been any Berings on the charter market. I think the original 77 is now on the charter market and Heeus I was told will be a Med charter yacht. I have always wanted the 120 or 125 and then either a modified 80, or a Lynx to function as a support vessel. I'm sure Alexei would accommodate someone if they had a special request to allow accommodations for the main deck cockpit area to be stripped of furniture and allow it to function as a tender area. (That's a joke because we all know he wouldn't.)
My budget is around $250K..... maybe not quite enough for this one (or even half of one deck). Beautiful and functional, though. Excuse me while I search my couch cushions....
Maybe one of these days Bering will embrace the spirt of what an expedition yacht should be beyond endless bedrooms and lounges and actually put a deck large enough for proper 30 foot tender on the boat with a crane to move it. That tender is ridiculously tiny and useless for anything but wine runs to the marina store to the point they even have it labeled in their diagrams as a rescue tender. Noone wants to be 1000 miles from nowhere and have to sit in the baking sun on a tender to go fishing out of a back pack. Other than that, nice boat!
Oh, Alex, you make my decisions more complicated by the day. But I can't afford this bad boy or the others yet, but I pay my dues, pray to my Savior, and wait for the rewards.
Your equation is flawed, lower horsepower does not equate to lesser fuel burn in this size of yacht. In fact it probably increases the wear rate of the engines and they'll likely have to be overhauled much sooner, for increased repair costs. The 900 hp engines would be appropriate for a yacht of this size, at sub 500 gross tons.
