no. i did not know that. lol. i already had alot of vintage analog synths when i got my microkorg. it came up cheap and i bought it. guess what? i love it i really love the sound it makes by not being a real analog synth . it's a nice unique sound that vintage analog synths cant do .. its hard to explain, but i love the microkorg and i love when it's treated like more than just a wannabe vintage synth. i am itching to try this now.

Its just basic tweaking. synths are not for everybody i guess
some of us are more comfortable with this workflow
I would love to play my MicroKorg more. But not having the sound editor updated for newer MacOS is pretty frustrating.

@@esqigibraltar2609 they're completely different synths. Plus I thought the XL was the XL+, I bought it solely for the melotron samples it apparently didn't contain.
If you get the XL, use the synth editor software, to save insanely sensitive menu knob diving.
Just sucks cause this audience keeps getting smaller. Great product with that features and no one realizes it.

You can have essentially 2 synth patches contained in 1 patch. It will limit the keyboard polyphony to 2 keys from 4.

It’s like you synth people are speaking alien tongues..... why do I have to switch back and forth for the knobs to work after I touch something?! What does this all mean?! The knobs how do you make effect on instrument bad korg no do what I want! me angry!!!!!!!!! It makes no sense!!!!
It takes a decent amount of time fooling around on the microkorg to figure it out, but it all makes sense eventually. At a certain point it becomes second nature and you can imagine how to design all kinds of sounds with the microkorg.
