Scott Hall was the best underestimated wrestler of all-time. Not many people know this, but Scott came up with the Wolfpac & their sign, the rap style of the nWo, Sting’s gimmick, and The Rock even incorporated Scott’s wrestling style into his own (he is on record saying this). He had the greatest mind in wrestling and should have been a writer after he retired. He was also the coolest wrestler of all-time. Just watch some of his content. nWo 4L
The thing I love about this interview, is Steve Austin bringing up other topics, that lead into other stories about Scott while he was in the business. I never knew about how country music was such an interest with Scott, and how it played into his experience in wrestling.
RIP To the one true BAD GUY, may God rest his soul..... Truly someone who battled his demons and bounced back from it, it's so sad that he had to go in the way that he did. Razor deserved to go so much more peacefully, not by being taken off life support. A big shout-out to his family and his close friends including the one and the only Big Daddy Cool Kevin Nash, I can only imagine the pain that they all went through seeing him in such a bad physical state. Unfortunately ik that feeling all too well so my heart and well wishes goes out to his family. And one last time, in honor of the man himself Scott hall, "hey yo".
I've listened to this interview like 3 or 4 times now and I never get sick of hearing Scott's voice. I didn't even know the man personally but he came to the WWF right when I first started watching pro wrestling as a kid and I never stopped being a fan of his since. The first time I seen him debut as Razor Ramon and then seeing him transition into himself as Scott Hall in WCW was so awesome to me see cause he was still cool as ever just being himself. I even watched him go back to WWE and then TNA and the TNA run wasnt his best but it was always great to see him no matter where he ended up working cause everything he did was effortless but still effective cause he just looked so badass no matter what he did. Heel or baby face, he was always loved, cheered, and respected. None of that ever mattered, every guy just wanted to be as cool as Scott Hall! I never disliked him even through his bad times behind the scenes, in real life, etc.. He was always a super hero in my eyes. I can honestly say I love the guy and I don't feel weird about saying that. I grew up following this man through most of his career from the early days of my childhood, up until i became an adult. He was super entertaining and the coolest person in the world to me and everyone! Just like Randy Savage and all of the greats in pro wrestling, there will never be anyone like him, ever.. He's one of a kind and he will forever be a Legend! Thank you for all of the amazing and entertaining childhood memories Scott, you will always be loved and missed by all of us, and by all of us I literally mean EVERY single person in the entire world!! 🤟🏾💯😇🫶🏽 "Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but BAD GUYS do!" -Scott Hall 🙏 RIP Bad Guy 🙏
The wrestling community was robbed of an extremely highly creative mind when Scott passed. He had so much more to give. Such a shame. The pandemic made him lonely and I believe he relapsed before he fell and broke his hip. RIP to The Bad Guy
Dutch mantel and tojo Yamamoto did a ladder in 81 and hilariously they used 8 step, but it turned out good since kendo stick afixed to the top and tojo hit him with the salt b4 bell so it was good
Hearing them talk about Kevin Sullivan and thinking about the fact that both are dead now. Eventually Stone Cold will be gone and then we'll be gone and then this little glimpse into Americana will kind of be forgotten but at least it will be documented and left here hopefully.
@@IronDiva That's not all they made lol! can you imagine a pro wrestler living on $1500 a year? come on man. That *was* the ''guarantee.'' That you would get those appearences, which is where you would make your money...they would be paid based off of the live gate or basically how many fans you drew to the arena and based on your spot on the card. Performance driven, the way it always was.
This was such a good listen! RIP Scott!

I listened to this when it first aired and now that Scott passed away I'm going back through all of his old stuff...this is great
I know I'm listening well after he's passed but Damn! I'm crying! We miss you

Scott is so easy to listen to
One of the greatest ❤
Here for part 2. Two great wrestlers here. RIP Scott Hall.❤

Rip Scott I really appreciate the show you always put on

🙏 RIP Bad Guy 🙏
Fantastic interview.
Thanks for the memories 87 -88 memphis ,seeing you in person 4 times in NWO,God bless you, you're home
Hope they do a tribute for "the bad guy" at WrestleMania. Such a sad time for the business. What a mind for wrestling he had. RIP
that story of ddp giving hall his gimmics is so classic, i laughed really hard, much respect
I don't think I'll ever stop missing this guy. Wrestling just isn't the same without him
It's pretty much the same.

Awesome interview
My favorite interview on the Steve Austin show. Thanks for uploading this
One of the best interviews ever
Thanks for adding this. I had it saved on apple podcasts but accidentally deleted part 2 and they don’t have it for redownload
He had so much character in his face, he looked just like a comic book artist drew his face 👍🌹♥️🌹 R.I.P
Great listen. But damn. Can’t go 4 minutes without an ad.
It's even worse than Conrad Thompson, it's pathetic greed.
Man wrestling was great. I miss it sometimes.
54:23 Huh?! Kane & Mr. T worked a program together?!
Nice Budweiser ad while Hall is mid-rehab talk
Everyone seemed so afraid or intimidated by Vince.
Dutch mantel and tojo Yamamoto did a ladder in 81 and hilariously they used 8 step, but it turned out good since kendo stick afixed to the top and tojo hit him with the salt b4 bell so it was good

Cool to hear him comment on Cody now that Cody is head of the WWE.
This was a fantastic interview but dang it still was hard to listen to. RIP Bad Guy
I have a question. When he says 1 year deal for 1500, or ten matches at 150 bucks, is that ALL he made or is that all that was guaranteed
I *think* that’s all they made. Nothing was guaranteed until Scott negotiated with WCW
@@IronDiva That's not all they made lol! can you imagine a pro wrestler living on $1500 a year? come on man. That *was* the ''guarantee.'' R.I.P. Scott Hall
Vince McMahon is the Stan Lee of wrestling
Anybody else do a shot everytime Austin says RIGHT?
I have to go pay my respects at this man's grave
"what do i have to do to make big money like the guys who preceded me?"
draw like them, maybe
Too bad Scott Hall didn't know a genius like you in 1996 so he could have known how to get a raise from Vince McMahon.
