Excellent explanation of this by you and your son, sensei. I just had my daughter watch this video twice as I explained this throw and now she understands the mechanics better. Thank you for posting these videos!
This has always been my favorite throw (along with uchi mata). Jack does this really nicely and I saw him hit a good one at the Doha Worlds. Thank you for all the great the content
Coach, do you have to bump into him with your body to make the throw work? I realize that it’s kind of hard to execute when you only putting the weight on his leg via collar tie or other grips.
Excellent🎉🎉🎉

Love this throw! I liked the tip of turning the hips. This could prevent a lot of counters in the future
I could never pivot inward well on my left foot. I like this variation a lot!
Cool variation!
Jack does it like John Bassano used to .
thank you coach, great video! Is this effectove against a bent over square wrestling stance? or would you recommend another trip?
Yeah this works with any stance. A lot of wrestlers use it too

Not necessarily , you can but it’s more a hand and leg technique. Unlike Osoto where you need the body contact
I thought the straight entry was the traditional way to do O Uchi Gari
