- Quite a polarising topic and a tough one to share but it's one that needed to be shared. A big part of the reason I've grown so much and made so much progress (in life and trading) at the start was because of my first ever trading community. Even to this day, I still apply many of the life principles I've been taught and will be forever and ever grateful for the mentorship.
But there does come a time where sometimes the bird has to leave the nest. Took me a while to stomach the change, but I'm glad I did in the end. It was for my own good. Hope this video clears some things up. I know you're all entitled to your own opinions but please remember that this is my own journey and my own process. Enjoy the video :)
PS: I still trade price action and still ask myself the same questions when forecasting! I just focus much more on candlestick formation and more current price action. (Which is similar to what I used to trade before this community when I was scalping haha). Backtesting various things in the background and still refining from my own results. Not attached to any community or one specific strategy, just wanna be a butterfly hehe! 🦋

The putting big capital on a pedestal part hit meeee. I literally had a conversation with myself yesterday about the same thing. That kind of capital is literally in my palms but its the mental barrier thats holding me back from getting there. 100% felt the same in terms of comfort zones! Very very relatable, there will be people that question your decisions to want to better yourself, but no one doing better than you will be talking shit about you! Great video Han! There's always a ceiling to break through!
when people find out that you trade, they want to be your best friend. I hate feeling the pressure of expectations to succeed when im teaching because somtimes the market might not be in your favor, i've learned that it is best to trade by yourself rather doing it with a community or family/friends.

I can relate to this. Have to stay humble with it.
Thats why I don't tell anyone I trade because their first question is always how much do you make. It is super annoying and I have nobody that I know personally to talk about my trading.

Honestly this is soo true sis. Not to talk ish about"mentors" but a lot of them are just teachers of the concepts without actually trading, at the end of the day you WILL ALWAYS BE THE ONE TO GET YOURSELF OVER THE LINE🙂🙂

Thanks Hannah for that honest feedback, iam at the moment in that community, i have been with them almost 6 months, till now i do not see any negative things although i know that there is not a perfect strategy or community. They helped me a looooot, not only trading but life in general. I agree with u the point that when u are in a community u feel safe or is like a comfort zone but at the beginning u need where u learn the fundamentals and basic foundations otherwise it would be a frustration journey. Iam now in a level where i can improve myself without a community because now i know what to and how to do it, but without that community my journey would had been hard and frustrated

Wow, I totally agree with when finding yourself & growth, be honest to yourself. Don't chase the shiny ball, but working with other quality traders that are better than you can be a game changer. Keep up the great job with videos and sharing your journey with us!

I see groups with 2000 plus followers. People are paying good money to learn . But all the mentors presentations are on demo accounts .

Pretty insane to hear another trader noticing these exact attributes. I seem to see it a lot especially in the past few months, “mentors” and “gurus” - no indication of P&L, no track record, nothing to really suggest any profitability whatsoever. Many hide behind a few student success stories, almost to divert attention from themselves. To be honest if you’re a great mentor but not a great trader, you’re still a great mentor... why not just be open about it you know? Great vid anyways!
My story: It was the same with my case, but I moved out a little early and I always wondered how you and others were doing. I thought maybe I am not good at this stuff because I never made progress. It was the style that didn't suit me. Now I am doing good and thanks for sharing your story.

7:00 that is very true and is a lot hard to go through it for the first time , but once you get through it the first time it will become effotless to choose the best comunitythat serves you the best.
Being a Trader is a lonely Profession but when ever i've seen Communities, something didn't sit well with me so i've decided to go on my own WAY, learn everything i can, read every book and apply it. I took the same Course you took but i never traded the WAY the Communities were TRADING. It's like you have a Relationship with the Market just like every Relationship it needs Nurturing, so if someone tells me his Relationship with the Market, it doesn't mean it will work for me. Find your own Style and Invent yourself in your own WAY.
Good one Hannah , you literally share the ' reality ' in the trading journey aside from just a ' fantasy ' future for most of traders . Most of traders won't share this because they feel like they are already right and have the ego inside them to feel like they are OK in their journey , but in facts they dont .

I had to relocate from my home county to a different county so i could grow personally and in my trading experience. 6 months down the line i have grown to be independent and i'm slowly understanding my trading plan. Thank you for relating to me personally as i thought i was the only one going through all this.

Same, I left my community as it has became a distraction then more of a help, and 6 months later I'm half way thru ftmo challenge😃

Trading is a journey. As we progress we will go through different phases. Just like the phases we go through throughout our journey of life. The longer you stick with it the more you will evolve.. not just as a trader but as a spiritual being.

If you have a working strategy and a winning mindset and you can apply this over and over you are above 90% of other traders. Congratulations. You deserve it. Forget the noise and focus on your goals.
Listening to analysis or advise from other traders has been my only downfall with trading.
Cut them all off this time last year, and it's been soo much easier to follow my trade plan
the way you sip that coffee is our Filipino style of doing that. hehe.

I can relate to your story So MUCH!!!!!!!! Ever since I was a little girl, I spent my life experiencing a lot of pain and misery and people talking behind my back. Ever since I was in middle school, I felt very aggravated, depressed or lonely. Ever since then, I was foretold to stop believing in that kind of stuff and to stand up for my true self, I would not have even cared what people thought of me!!!!! And I believe it’s not just the both of us that’s going through this, a OTHER people are TOO!!!!! Go push yourself off and fight for what’s right and don’t care what others think of YOU as judge mental or a hypocrite, believe in YOURSELF, that’s all that MATTERS!!!!!!!

Hannah I like how your genuine in this channel...however it doesn't go well with being liked by everyone.
People will be triggered however way you phrase anything because they live in their own world perceiving things different than you'll be able to guess. It's why you have dislikes now and then.
Don't forget the vast majority love to hear your world without any filters. Those are the real fans you want sticking round :)

I’ll be starting my journey in October yet I’m still working my 9-5 but my numbers say I can quit my job in October and begin my life there and I’m only 24, I should make 80k by December if I play it safe just gotta trust and believe in my skills aswell

95% of retail trades loose their money within their first 90 days, have you ever heard about the (90-90-90 RULE).
im just an advanced trader, but in my opinion, your solution is Please Use risk management, use small lot size and open 1 or 2 positions per trade...also focus more on your risk Reward ratio...

Hannah I've managed to nail down risk management mindset and discipline. It's taken time however I don't have a good strategy. I've done the baby pips course so I have a good base knowledge. Where is a good place to learn a strategy. It's the last piece of the puzzle. Could you help? 😊
Start experimenting with what you’ve learned with baby pips on a demo account. Don’t worry about being wrong just focus on learning from your mistakes. IMO you need to learn to develop your own strategy because that’s really the only way you learn for yourself. If you’re just copying someone else’s methods then you don’t fully grasp why those methods work and can’t adjust them when market fundamentals change. What do YOU think you could do to start working on YOUR unique strategy?
i don't fully believe you've nailed down risk management if you don't have a good strategy yet. your strategy can determine your RRR. therefore, if your current risk management has some predetermined rules, your strategy may not be compatible.
