Thank you for these type of videos on The Five. Your explanation and opinion in combination with your gameplay it's very satisfactory and once in a while, I come back to watch these videos. Shadow Man is such a classic that only a few of us have had the pleasure of experiencing.
I didn't even realize that Milton Pike and Marco Cruz supposed to have their own levels insdead of being inside Gardelle County Jail with Dr. Victor Batrachian. So great!
@Maynards so blue Yeah, when I heard that line in the original I assumed it was just Milton treating part of the prison as "his" property because he's a delusional murderer.
Absolutely love this, they definitely made Pike and Cruz more memorable characters by reinstating their own levels, before they just felt like a drop in the bucket compared to Marx, Batrachian and Jack IMO, not fully realized.
Great GREAT game. I can’t wait the console version! I know this game very well for having completed it 3 times (N64-Dreamcast-PC), and I knew about the lack of time the dev had for Milton and Marco’s level, so I’m so happy about this remaster! I watched 4min cuz I don’t wanna ‘’spoiler effect’’. I notice that I’m not the only fan of this gem. Thanks for the video. I’ll watch it entirely when I’ll finish the game, AGAIN, haha ! NightDive, console now please !
Same here! Saw the intro voice dialogue and realized I have to experience this first hand. I'm stocked for a console release. If trophies are included, I will be getting platinum for sure.
@@DarkSoulJah Music is top notch. I've downloaded the music files and have it in my playlist. The effort put in over 20 years ago just blows my mind. I'm happy to hear there's others that enjoy this game.
Also you got that right, consoles are part of the major reason why content gets cut in games and if it was sold as a PC exclusive it would have done very poorly in sales at the time and it would have been most likely forgotten and maybe very underrated today not to mention there would more than likely never been a Shadow Man 2 at the time either.
5:26 Intriguing theory of Marco being based on Andrew Uderalis. Though I remain unconvinced as Marco was noted to pray upon couples not just women. While Andrew specifically targeted women.
Or rather once again, the info in the file is outdated and Marco and Milton were never arrested at all in this recent version. They just forgot to update it which might be for a future patch.
didnt all killer teleport away in green smoke? so i think this was just a game-scene filler to let them appear before the fight, and not how the escaped from prison. I watched the Avery Marx video before this, thats a good job bud and a lot of work. Maybe in the crazy cutted N64 version are more Secrets? because in the project64 emulator is a cheat named Levitate available so maybe you can fly out of map and they placed something somewhere.
i didn't have the upgraded weapons and the reload on the shotgun is shit so I kept dying and had to kill him slowly over time. the only of the 5 that happened with so far and I only have 2 left
Hi, awesome game eh? But I, for some reason cannot stop all the pistons. Now I am in console room 3, I can see the number on wall, though none of the 'OLD' combinations work. Is it rewritten in Jack's Journal? If so where can I get the journal and what is the code for room 3? Thanks!
Yes, the combos are rewritten in Jack's Journal, which you can get at the start of the London level on his desk. The combination for Console Room 3 is 431. I also have the other combinations if you need them too. Console Room 1: 555 Console Room 2: 124 Console Room 3: 431 Console Room 4: 312 Console Room 5: 153 Console Room 6: 245
For some reason marco is extremely fast and kills me in seconds everytime. Does anyone know why? Played the old version never had problems but in this video he‘s normal paced and idk why he is so incredible fast in my game
They made Marco harder in a future Remastered patch because people complained that Marco was too easy. I'd use the Enseinge shield to block his attacks, which makes fighting him much easier.
It's from the Shadowman Remastered OST by Tim Haywood. Search for "the salvage yard suite"; the track lasts 11'13" and the song you want starts around 7' 34". Enjoy!
I m far in the minority on this one. The game for its time was intriguing and thought-provoking. Didn t have an instruction booklet, so it was very satisfying to figure out. Was "relatively" still dumb as a door nail, but the scholastic fieldwork applied to a larger context of life. With that said, idk that this was better; it was mildly interesting to add dimension, story-wise, but wasn t really endearing, thematically and the music was horrid, excepting the battle theme. The more Marco that was revealed just downgraded the effort to a silly parallel interpretation. If we think about it, thats why games just get over-hauled, for a better game, then some hangers-ons get turned off. Resident Evil is an excellent example, as is Streets Of Rage...its really just honesty to ones tastes
It's incredible that night dive studios remade these stages, this remaster is 10/10

i love the twangy guitar slow rendition of the shadowman theme.
31:48 they could've added Boomhauer for his voice there lol
This level looked like Manhunt at times.

I don't know why but for some reason ever since I was a little kid I never forgot Marco. For whatever reason he was memorable as hell to me.
I would argue that Marco was the most memorable of The Five. His personality was so inviting and infectious.
Great GREAT game.

@@uhby6297 oh yeah, platinum is obligatory for me, i know this game too well.
My 5.1 is ready too ! ShadowMan’s Atmosphere !

This remaster feels similar to the Snyder Cut and I love it already.
It's adding cut content... not the same thing.
Nice job man, good work on thoughts and walkthrough, and capturing the video in 4:3
you're the best for discovering this. thank you. this is one of the best shadowman bosses! let the disco go on!
Shadowman VS Tommy Vercetti
I thought that Marco was Tommy Vercitti for a minute lol 😂
Haha, and I compared the part where Marco burns the house down to Trevor's arson mission in GTA 5. 😂 Marco and Tommy do indeed dress and look alike.
@@doctorattitude2611 lol definitely 😊 have you ever played Shadowman 2? 😊
@@coolchicism Yes I have, I've uploaded the foreign versions of it.
@@doctorattitude2611 enjoy 😊 I've just ordered the ps2 version 😊
It's probably because of the shirt. Same blue Hawaiian shirt
14:46 That was kinda disturbing

1:19 Première apparition de Marco
12:44 Deuxième apparition de Marco
30:58 Dernière apparition de Marco.
Wish you well in your cause, neighbor.
Thank you for sharing and good luck
Where's the accumulator, bro? Not at 4:11
Marco's accumulator is in the doorway at the 16:33 mark. You just need to explore the 2nd floor of the burning inn and find the upper platform.
@@doctorattitude2611 Thank you very much.

Wow, a new weapon? I don't remember a double-barreled shotgun in the original game - only two identical single-barreled ones...
The double-barreled shotgun is a new weapon.
Lol all the memorable music in this game
Or rather once again, the info in the file is outdated and Marco and Milton were never arrested at all in this recent version.
They just forgot to update it which might be for a future patch.
There’s an update coming up but they didn’t say when, but the update will be the final touches to the game
Perhaps these two new locations were too long and violent, or the developers simply did not have time to create them.

no pixels were hurt this day. its just a game.
ty for this bc I was stuck
The levels
Why in the hell did they cancel them ?
does anyone know the name of the song that plays when the boss dies?
this level are so big it could be a own game.
Good game but one thing I didn't like is when you fight boss doesn't seem very challenging as you just respawn and kill them easy.

that damn fire sounds like rain
I wasted a lot of time in that damn saloon - you can't see sh%t!

does anyone know if there is a secret in the level
Marco's secret is at the 31:26 mark, just behind the deejay record turntable on the stage.
thanks
does anyone know where i can find the secret to play as bloodshot
480p wtf
