I understand that our brothers and sisters ... our families are the ones who live God's will. But if your physical relatives want to meet with you, maybe it’s an opportunity to save them. They are unable to speak you out of God’s will, so there is no risk for you. Only to come back bruised beat up and with the devil's hoof print on the seat of my pants..but God would always wipe my dirty tear streaked face clean me up and say " I came to save that which was Lost." Now you follow Me.. and sin no more." He never threw me away.. Im far from perfect but im NOT what i was..and at the renewal of ALL things He will make me Perfect and the whole world too. Sweet.

Yes, thank God for Jesus being our high priest! I think Curry was making the point that grumbling and murmuring is not a neutral action, it's a sin. And every sin is serious and deserving of a sobering punishment, like the swallowing up of the grumblers by the earth in the Old Testament. Now, we have the perfect sacrifice of Christ who bore the punishment we deserve, yet we are told to resist the devil, and die to sin. Also, we have to take into consideration the event in Acts 5 of Ananias and Sapphira who dropped dead after lying to God. I have more understanding to gain on that scripture, but clearly we can see that sin is not tolerable even after Christ. Sin is not to be played with.
