THE SPEAR is silly and I love it

The Spear is one of the new weapons that got added to The Finals in Season 3. Today I will be taking it into the brand new World Tour gamemode to see how it holds up in a competitive environment.

equipment and healing are all important, but also your positioning will make or break your games when running melee weapons! Choosing which engagements to fight and which to just stay away from are all really important in doing well with these styles of weapons

Depends on the event for the map - if I need cover then shields, if I have a lot of indoor space to work with then explosive mines

What is your loadout after DOM shield nerf? Would you suggest something for melee heavy? Should I use aim assist for melee?

Dome shield, RPG, barricade if I have spear. Dome shield is still really good even after nerfs, you just have to be a little more careful and deliberate with your usage. Def have melee aim assist on

Good to know uninstalling this POS was the smartest play. Fat characters with 300+ hp being inside shields/spamming explosives is still the least balanced garbage ever lol

It's not trash it's just weak compared to the sledgehammer. For example you have to hit medium for 4 shots to kill them and they have enough time to kill you in that moment because it deals low damage or the attack speed is slow. Also mention that the secondary attack is so inconsistent and you can't cancel it and makes you a sitting duck. some minor buffs or even a rework will make it a great melee weapon. rn just use sledge with winch it's just busted you will get a lot of free kills

It just can’t kill opponents as quickly as the sledge, lacks its burst damage and its destruction. Its only serious advantage is its ability to hit multiple opponents at once
