This works only as long as the text box remains TEXT. I was baffled and frustrated why I clicked and clicked and looked everywhere but still couldn’t edit the text. Well this seems to happen when Procreate changes the text into an image (it gets “rasterized”). For example I had some text boxes where the words had different sizes and colors, so rather than having to redo them individually I thought I’d simply format one and then copy and paste, simply changing the text but maintaining the formatting: can’t do it-the moment it gets pasted, it’s an image and you can no longer modify the text or formatting. Hope this helps!
Mine doesn’t have the “A” on the text layers. It has the text itself and it’s very annoying bc I can’t move or edit the text ._. Could someone pls help!?
Impossible to reselect created text. Didn't work. I think it's locked or something. Sucks that word processors are terrible at images and image editors are terrible at word processing.
Editing the Leading on multiple lines is very tricky to select, especially when the selection bars are similar in color to adjacent colors. I will continue to experiment using the clarity from this video and see if it answers all scenarios.

Followed step by step. Didn't work. :( EDIT: Apologies. My Mistake! MAKE SURE IT's A LIVE TEXT LAYER (with a Letter A in the Layer thumbnail), then this works.
@@ameliafair1924 I just did this again on my iPad just to make sure I can clarify. BE SURE TO: select the text layer (that hasn't been rasterized). Make sure it's active (the box is checked in the layer panel). With those two things, you should be able to do as the video suggests. Comment back if it works or doesn't. I'll check back later today.

When i use the distort tool on the text I find I can no longer edit the words of the text.

Can you unmerge text from the back ground. I cannot edit my text any longer and chance the color. It colors the whole page.
