    I never thought of honey. I have plenty of organic local honey in my cabinet! My Mom keeps giving me a jar every Christmas and Birthday! Lol

    Agree with this 100%. Absolutely. Been using honey for over 15 years. For protein, I'll throw in ground BSF larvae. And, YES on the blended roaches. Right on.

      Either is probably fine, I just prefer goat because studies show its more easily digestible

    Great videos by any chance do you have a recipe of what your doing ratios ? Example (1p gecko food 1p protein 1/4p honey 1 horn worm 3p water again this is just me guessing your ratios)

    What specific brand of whey is that, also do you add whey, egg powder and honey all at once then blend that with the Pangaea and insects?

      I do stuff like this once a week, I feed 2x a week. And any brand of whey works as longnas it's ingredient is only whey

      I keep mine at 72 just cuz AC reptiles mentioned on a podcast that higher makes babies burn more calories than they eat and I've noticed the same

      Perhaps, it's just too fast from their natural diet for me to want to add the raw ingredient to their food. The egg white powder you add in teaspoons composted to a whole egg white

      Processed (heated) honey has no nutrients or beneficial bacteria. Just like how pastured milk has no health benefits but raw milk is the healthiest thing in earth for humans

    Would you do the same things for baby geckos? My gecko has only grown around 1 gram in 4 months (he was 2.5g when I got him and now he is 3.8g). I know he is eating because he'll eat infront of me and has a healthy amount of poop, but having him as my first crested gecko, I'm not really sure if this is a normal growth weight. He isn't super intrested in bugs, but I'm going to try to get an even smaller size of crickets and see if he might be intrested in them.

      That's slow growth! Try adding honey or some whey to the diet, he will eat the same amount but get more calories

    Umm instead of blending the hornworms can I smash them instead? I don’t think I can justify blending insects to make gecko food to my parents.

      Smashing them sounds incredibly painful and time consuming, blending would end it instantly. And then you would have huge chunks of them in the food instead of their protein being evenly distributed in the mix. But hey, you do you

      Buy a cheap bullet blender off Amazon. Then you have one specifically for your geckos. And you won't have to use a family one. That's what I did.
