The 1970s is the ONLY decade in which something can be corny and cool at the same time. I love this jam and it's cool how the last 2 minutes are very romantic with that dreamy orchestra. We go from Popeye the sailor man, to Popeye the lover man.

KTLA 5 here in Los Angeles would use portions of the song for the commercial break intros/outros and used the ending part of the song when it was time to say goodbye until next Sunday morning.
