Please don't ever skip the educational history, I learn so much that school never taught me, plus I LOVE seeing the old pictures and video clips of New York etc. All that aside, we need to start calling it the INJUSTICE System because HOW SWAY? Good behaviour my ass that should be reserved for petty criminals not murderers and rapists. It's easy to behave when there's nobody to victimize or no vices at your finger tips. You are a GEM Jose, your work is very much appreciated.

I remember this case in1984. I was still in my teens. There were so many theories but I never thought that one single solitary man could cause all this death and grief over his belief that his wife was cheating with Enrique. He has to be one of the most cowardly, angry, hateful piece of human waste to execute 8 kids and 2 woman, 1 pregnant. He should have NEVER,EVER BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON. He had no disciplinary reports an was a "good" prisoner? Of course he's going to be on his best behavior because the inmates knew he killed 8 children and 2 women, one pregnant. He wasn't going to be able to fight off an entire cellblock obviously. Probably went into protective custody. This man should have been left to rot in prison and not be free after 10 murders.

The fact that a man could murder two innocent women and *eight innocent children* in cold blood... and then use the fact that "he was high on cocaine" to downgrade the murder charges to manslaughter is absolutely fuggin' mind-boggling. That's the polar opposite of proper justice being served... and any/everybody who was involved in allowing that to happen is downright despicable. This was a slam-dunk death penalty case if there ever was one... meanwhile, this psychopath is back out walking the streets. Disgusting.

Wow. I was taken aback by how personally this terrible crime and lost hits home. I am related to someone in the family (I prefer not to say who, for privacy reasons). When you hinted at the location with the street signs before releasing this video, I had a strong feeling you would cover this dreadful story. I shared your teaser post with them, and they confirmed it. This tragedy has left indelible scars on the family's hearts, scars that will never fully heal. To this day, my family member struggles to articulate the profound pain they continue to endure from this traumatic and incomprehensible loss. The pain is evident in their eyes whenever they are reminded of it. Justice on earth was denied, as the family saw this inhumane individual live out his sentence in prison and eventually walk free.
My family member and I deeply appreciate you, your platform, your audience, and your commitment to honoring those who were lost by exposing the harsh realities of these heinous crimes and the systemic failures they highlight. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We truly value what you have done ❤

I was born and raised in East NY. I remember this. My mom took me to the funeral. There was a long line just to walk through the funeral. The pregnant mom they had taken out her baby and wrapped it up and place it in her arm. I would never forget that. It was the most saddest funeral I've ever seen. Rumor was that drug dealers from Colombia did it trying to get back at husband. Very sad.

Later it was proven not to be Columbian dealers. They caught the murderer, and it wasn't his first crime. He'd beaten people up, including his poor wife, even after she got a restraining order.
He had (SA) assaulted a close relative, arrested for sodomy, rape and more. After all of his previous crimes, he was imprisoned for killing ten innocent people, 2 women, one was pregnant, and 8 children, one teenager all the way down to a 3 year old. And he's been released. Why?

Your videos are just brilliant. The stories told with such compassion and respect for the victims and their loved ones. I also love how you weave in the history of the areas which, as a Brit I know so little about. You absolutely epitomise all that is good about TH-cam without any of the sensationalism present in so many true crime channels. Thank you 🙏

You truly have a remarkable gift of sharing the memories of those taken far too soon. You share these stories with compassion, and authenticity and so respectfully. These are truly tragic events that have taken place in our world. May these beautiful, innocent people never be forgotten. Thank you also for educating me. I google map all the addresses you provide, it adds so much more reality for me. 1984 or 2024, remarkably real and the depth of sadness and senselessness, is so much more. God bless all those affected this fateful day, in 1984.

I am so glad to find a channel that doesn't use A.I. to read the story. I appreciate that you tell the case history yourself. A.I. always mispronounces so many things and it is distracting. It also takes the humanity out of it. These tragic stories need that human connection.

The state of New York should absolutely be ashamed for letting this monster back out on the streets. I don't care if he's an old man or not. The fact that he killed 10 people, which 8 were children and didn't actually have to spend the rest of his life in prison is effing unbelievable!!

During the 80's, there was still a lot of police corruption in NY City & drug crimes were maybe not processed as they should have been. In some ways criminal investigations were still in their infancy (we're still fine tuning them today). Yes, we had detectives & theories, crime scene investigations, finger prints & blood spatters but no DNA, forensic profiling, blood spatter analysis, etc. Now, we have a better understanding of crime scenes, securing evidence, profiling & even interviewing witnesses & suspects. But even today, not all police departments handle criminal nvestigations the same & vital information gets lost. That being said, I would assume if this crime happened today someone would point out that not only did the perpetrator come armed with a gun but a gun with a silencer which easily indicates premeditation & therefore first degree murder charges should have been enforced. Also, second degree charges or manslaughter would have been added for the death of the unborn child.
Lastly, has anyone ever explained how he was able to kill them all in situ?

Senseless 😞 & even more that he was actually released. I can’t imagine that mother’s pain & the pain of everyone that had to go on without their loved ones or the confusion that the survivor went through after finding out how her mother & siblings passed away. Thankful that her grandparents & that police officer stepped up for her. Thank you for sharing their story & for that bit of history in the beginning. The part about Coney Island brought back so many memories. The cyclone was the first roller coaster I ever rode. RIP to all the victims & my heart goes out to all of their loved ones ❤️🙏🏽

INSANE! All that previous criminal history, acquitted of multiple murders, clearly is insanely violent and has a long pattern to prove it. How the hell was manslaughter even an option for the 10?????? Mind blowing! And he's even out on parole?!?! Good grief they surely dropped the ball on every crime this man committed. You receive longer sentences for selling drugs then being a mass and serial killer.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and communities of these victims, may they rest in peace.
Thank you, Jose, for your hard work and for telling these tragic stories, letting the victims still with a voice.

Because his attorney and others who knew him claimed he was " under the drugs he used ". Then because of the law he had to only serve 2/3 of his sentence And his attorney said it would cost the state money for elder care. He is on 17 years of parole. He did something bad to his mom after he unalived th women and children. He was violent evil man
