Do these have any issues long turn like exploding? Also does CarPlay work? I have a 14 with HUD would it retain that and factory things
Exploding? I hope not 😂 and the radio shouldn’t mess with the HUD, and it does have carplay

I downloaded a car launcher then applied a wallpaper from google!

You are 100% correct that would be the first big test specifically living in texas
However I am not concerned since many electronics will survive with the heat just like my past head unit did for 2 years
@@thev6camaroguy Hey could you please show what APPLEcarplay looks like i’ve only seen one other reviewer on this head unit and im really trying to buy like in detail of maps etc etc and can you dim down the display/make it black while playing music? cause at night its easier to drive while the unit is like a tap away from being awake see what i mean? but yeah

The guages were not replaced so I still need them!
I bought a similar (not identical) one from digital octopus...big mistake. It's a piece of steaming bullsh*t. Hopefully this proves more reliable.
I also wonder if this will work with the wireless charger I installed

As of now it’s strong 💪🏽, as anything there is things to get used to, but soon there will be a full review
And yes you can reuse the wireless charger plate since all it does is sit in top of it!
@@thev6camaroguy dude where do I start!? The wireless function of Android Auto stopped working. And it refuses to respond to anything. It shows that it is connected to Bluetooth but it just hangs on the loading screen. And then it started giving me a random blue screen that would persist even after letting the car sit while off. I have to carry around a paper clip to be able to hit the reset button. And of course digital octopus is radio silent
Where did you purchase from? That should be under warranty
@@thev6camaroguy I purchased from digital octopus. And they went M.I.A. Complete radio silence. I've been having issues only a month after purchase. And they just ignore people. I'm not the only one. So even if it is still under warranty, there's no way to get in contact with anybody
