Sa totoo lang may mga biases naman talaga ang mga network nato, pero sumubra lang ang sa ABiaSCBeNd.... Aminado ko na maka ABS talaga ako pero in terms of NEWS medjo okay ako sa GMA, hindi dahil hindi rin sila bias, meron din naman spmetimes, sobrang GRABE lang talaga sa kabilang network. So, NO existing franchise ang ABS-CBN kasi hindi renewal because there is ONLY ONE channel sa original franchise, yung 2014 na CHANNELS ang nakasulat ay totally different. NTC did what is right.

They filed the renewal since 2014 but got rejected because of the “channelS”. They were given provisional permit that they are using for 6 years now but is already lapsed. That should be enough time for them to fix their legal issues. Even if the Congress take up their franchise now, i dont think they have enough number of votes for the “channelS” to be approved especially now that this is highlighted already. They have to pay for violation of operating 6 channels and start to apply legally so the congress will not have any objection to grant their franchise once they take up their case

If you will renew your driver's license to LTO and they dont have available materials for that matter, they will give you a temporary license card for you to be able to drive until you get your permanent license ID
kung nag-apply ka ng license mo months ahead before the expiry date but for reasons na hindi ikaw ang may gawa ay hindi naprocess ang lisensya mo...sisisihin mo ba ang sarili mo o hihingi ka ng provisional license? Hindi ba ang mga plate number natin ngayon ay provisional dahil hindi pa makapag-issue ang LTFRB ng permanent plate number?
@@victorjompilla5697 approved na ang renewal mo sa LTO kaya nabigyan ka ng temporary license nagkulang lang sila sa materyales. Sa ABS naman hindi pa na-aapprove ang renewal nila kaya hindi sila mabibigyan ng temporary license hanggang sa naabutan sila ng expiry date
@@victorjompilla5697You are correct. But still.. I got renewed and registered as Licensed driver because my application gets to the end of the process. It is already in the system. But ABS' application did not meet the end of the process and have no valid renewed registration.

Based on the statement of ms. Tamano ABS CBN filed another version for their franchise NOT the original franchise. The fact that ABS CBN put additional channels accdg. to ms. Tamano, From 1 channel to 6 channels. If this is the case, i think this is not already a case of renewal of franchise but rather a new application of franchise. Thus ABS CBN will start again step 1. Now, if this is treated as a new application of franchise then it is not proper for the congress to issue a resolution and ordering NTC to issue a provisional authority to operate in favor of ABS CBN.

But as far as I can see it, it was Congress' failure to act on the renewal of the franchise that caused abs cbn's temporary closure. Since franchise grant/renewal is a prerogative of the Congress, we cannot pass the burden or the blame to the NTC alone. Politically influenced or not, NTC could validly say that their 'hands are tied' and this excuse is constitutionally based.
Most of us are worried about the 11k employees of the abs cbn, but fortunately they will be given their salaries (based on Bianca's tweet) for 3 months. Now, I think Congress should convene and do their part within this 3-month period so we could save the people that we are concerned about.

This station ate throwing mean words to your viewers and broadcasters. I know it's nobody's mistake but their management. I believe in GMA 7 giving fair broadcasting and Congratulations to all Filipino people for the justice prevails. Why do you guys keep saying "Defend Press Freedom" and other things? THIS IS NOT EVEN A POLITICAL ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE, THEIR FREEDOM TO BROADCAST WAS NEVER TAKEN FROM THEM, CONGRESS JUST DID NOT MANAGE TO LOOK THROUGH THEIR PERMIT RENEWAL APPEALS.
Actually, the current Congress "managed to look through their renewal appeals". They had a hearing. But Congress felt that it was not enough. They needed more deliberations to decide if they would grant another 25 years. So, hindi totoo yung acvusatiins nila na "inupuan" daw ang application nila.
At tama ka: this has nothing to do about press freedom. Hindi naman sila binabawalang magsalita o magpahayag. Ang nawala lamang ay ang kanilang privilege to operate because their franchise expired.

Pero kung may hinihingi ang LTO sa 'yo na iba pa o karagdagang requirement (ex., an affidavit) at hindi mo ito nai-sumite sa takdang oras, aabutan ka ng expiry ng license mo at mawawalan ka na ng PRIBILEHIYO na mag-drive.

Ang NTC magbibigay sana ng Temporary Permit to operate, but was warned by Solgen that only Congress can do that. So ang NTC instead ngbigay ng Cease and Desist order and that is their job I believe because nag expire na ang franchise.actually ng extend p nga sila ng few hours before signing off.
