Seeing Ghostbur moving silently throughout the entire story from his death, especially around Techno and Tommy, almost beckoning them to die. The fact that Sad-ist incorporates that here, from seeing blue blood spilt in the snow, to seeing Ghostbur watching Techno as he quickly passes through the afterlife in the totem scene is just incredible.
the moment at the very beginning showing ghostbur is so good, especially if you rewatch them all in order, the contrast from that frame to wilbur in the last lore arc animatic
I love how Ghostbur’s presence is portayed in this whole thing, like he’s there every once in a while but he feels distorted and unlike many other images of him, he isn’t smiling. He looks sad, his role as one of the main characters in all the other parts of the story has been pushed back and he is in the role of an audience now... i just find that, the absolute best way it could’ve been done.
IKR! it took me a while to find out the meaning behind his presence in this animation. I feel like it shows regret of some sort, and when technoblade got crushed by the anvil everything went white, and ghostbur was there, I feel like that represents death in some way.

The moment at 2:37 I think is the absolute best representation of a totem of undying I've ever seen. It's so fluid and clean, yet the way that the flesh blood and bone are practically sewn back together really make you think about how painful that simple in-game animation actually is, and how much of a significant part of your animation this is. I haven't had any interest in the DSMP for a few years now, but the artistic and moving content you create on this channel is truly incredible, and I think it has gotten all the love and care in the world. Truly Incredible.
Imagine showing a kid a room covered wall to wall with severed heads that when placed on the gutted bones of long dead and withered people who died in a hellish dimension, they form an eldritch horror which searches and kills anything it deems living. Pretty metal.
Kinda puts it into perspective - it’s the same kid that was drafted into a war by his brother, exiled by his country, and fought in a revolution only to be exiled by his closest friend. At this point would the wall of skulls even phase him?
