Unfortunately it's a short list because I'm not a rap fan generally, although over the last three or four years it's kind of grown on me more but I started out with Eazy-E and Ice T, his band body count, then of course there's Eminem at the top of my list, Tom is at the top of my list although I don't really consider him to only be a rapper he is way too diverse to label to one genre so I just call them people artists such as like hell Prince back in the day is not a rapper obviously but I considered him an artist so I think there's a difference between an artist and a rapper but that's just my opinion but I can't speak a whole lot on it because I haven't heard enough rappers on a regular basis to have a list I'm just going to name off everybody else's top five try to do that and I can't be a hypocrite and pretend I know something that I don't, I just listen to music and if I like it I listen to it again. My biggest issue with Tom after supporting him for years, is that he has 2 songs. 1 is about the same old racism, sexual preferences, political etc message. It's over and over again with different lyrics and beats telling the same story. The other song he raps is about how controversial he is and how great he is. I bought every album he's put out, but over time I've realized he's got 2 songs.
He's the only rapper I listen to now except DAX. Glad you gave him a chance😁 He just hit a new genre today too with his release of Ghost. DUDE'S MAD TALENTED!
My thing with Tom is I'm all for speaking your mind but it's how offended or at least bothered he gets by the negative feedback. Either its A. Hypocrisy and that's hilarious since he makes such edgy takes or it's B. He is milking it for views and attention which makes me think it's all an act and he's fake.
For me, it's not even that. I respect Tom a lot. He's done very well for himself as an independent artist and he's busted his ass. With that said, I don't care for his flows, his hooks are corny (in my opinion), and I wouldn't listen to his music as a choice because I don't like it as musical entertainment. I'm a huge Eminem fan but I don't listen to his radio stuff ("Hi, my name is", "The Real Slim Shady", "Without Me", etc.) Because it's corny (again, in my opinion).

I slept on Tom for a while, but listened to his entire catalog a few years ago and got hooked. NF is still my main shit, but I love me some Tom Macdonald. He’s on every playlist now. The man doesn’t just rap, he speaks.
Honestly man, feels like we’re getting back to the core of what made rap great. I kind of left it behind for a few years. I’m in my 40s so of course my favorite era is still the 90s, Pac, Biggie, old school Em. Most of this new shit doesn’t vibe with me. Especially those welfare gangstas.

Unfortunately it's a short list because I'm not a rap fan generally, although over the last three or four years it's kind of grown on me more but I started out with Eazy-E and Ice T, his band body count, then of course there's Eminem at the top of my list, Tom is at the top of my list although I don't really consider him to only be a rapper he is way too diverse to label to one genre so I just call them people artists such as like hell Prince back in the day is not a rapper obviously but I considered him an artist so I think there's a difference between an artist and a rapper but that's just my opinion but I can't speak a whole lot on it because I haven't heard enough rappers on a regular basis to have a list I'm just going to name off everybody else's top five try to do that and I can't be a hypocrite and pretend I know something that I don't, I just listen to music and if I like it I listen to it again. I was depressed for a multitude of reasons, stopped listening to music all together (talk radio in the car) and I was in someone's car when this song played. It reminded me that music is amazing and thought provoking and that I'm a bad mother trucker! I can't wait to watch!
Yeah he don't always got it but Tom had the bars, the flow, and the cadence on this one. Another one that's on point is 'dear rappers". Cadence and flow is hot and he fires shots at the industry heavy.

I watched a couple of your first Tom videos but I stuck to your oage because I figured eventually you’d find something you like :) every song isn’t for everyone and some songs are more about the message than the sound
My biggest issue with Tom after supporting him for years, is that he has 2 songs. 1 is about the same old racism, sexual preferences, political etc message. It's over and over again with different lyrics and beats telling the same story. The other song he raps is about how controversial he is and how great he is. I bought every album he's put out, but over time I've realized he's got 2 songs.
So songs like castles or angels or church which one of those 2 categories do they fall under...for someone that has all his albums you missed alot

My thing with Tom is I'm all for speaking your mind but it's how offended or at least bothered he gets by the negative feedback. Either its A. Hypocrisy and that's hilarious since he makes such edgy takes or it's B. He is milking it for views and attention which makes me think it's all an act and he's fake.
For me, it's not even that. I respect Tom a lot. He's done very well for himself as an independent artist and he's busted his ass. With that said, I don't care for his flows, his hooks are corny (in my opinion), and I wouldn't listen to his music as a choice because I don't like it as musical entertainment. I'm a huge Eminem fan but I don't listen to his radio stuff ("Hi, my name is", "The Real Slim Shady", "Without Me", etc.) Because it's corny (again, in my opinion).

Tom makes music for young white republicans. If you're not in that category, then you probably won't like it. I personally don't really care for Tom. He can rap pretty good, but all the political talk has made me stop listening.
White republican here ✋...I'm not a fan of his music. I guess that I like that he's trying to put out a decent message, but I'm not sure it's always the right message. I also just think his music isn't very good. It's a mixture of bad beats, terrible hooks, and just constant politics. Maybe he should try putting out some fun stuff.
