My rebuild kid has a metal tube that goes in the hole where the shaft come through the pump. Is there any guidance on how to remove that metal tube so I can put the new one in?
Was not aware that any kit came with that bearing, it's hard to tell from my own video what kind of bearing puller you'd need to remove it. It may just need a well sized socket and a hammer to knock it out but I cannot tell which direction it needs to come out or if there's a dead stop for that bearing. Do you have a kit p/n?
There's really not much that wouldn't be hard to notice that is bad, especially if you replace all the seals and O-rings. Inside the cam/slippers themselves and the pump shaft/bore would show some scarring if something was truly bad since that's the only pieces rotating, I have a rebuild video recorded, just need time to edit it, I am hoping to finish it this week 🙂
This is a really excellent video. Very informative and well produced. Thank you for making it!

Got any tips for inspection? I am rebuilding one soon, not sure its condition, but leaks.
Hope you are working on part 2. Thanks for the video!
