- Today we are looking into the famous "orange and teal" look. It is used in a lot of movies and on pages like Instagram and Flickr. The reason why it is so popular is, that it is a great way to use color contrast. Orange and Teal (or blue) are colors we find everywhere in our world. The sky, our skin. That is also the reason why it makes people pop out and grab more attention in a photo or movie scene.
