Great ep, one of the first underrated bands that got me into 80's underrated metal (bands like randy, gotham city, medieval steel, ect) around 2015~, glad that I can be able to listen to bands like this and makes me wish I grew up in the 80's when metal was at its peak
Damn this actually my uncle on the guitar:) I love it btw he still plays at like bars and mc clubs and stuff but it's with some other people unfortunately.
@@punkrock1989 I can start by telling you a little bit about him. He comes from Karlshamn but now lives in Solna in Stockholm, His girlfriends name is Eva. Eva is My moms sister. So he isn't biologically my uncle but I consider him as one. He isn't married and have no kids. He's 56 years old, he later played in a band called rebelene with the vocalist from parasite, parasite got released on hellrec in '84 but they got ripped off and received no money. But now they got signed on no remorse records in 2018 where they received 3000 euro. Sword and other record labels pressed their records without permission (which he didn't know until I told him). He loves ritchie blackmore more than anything and when he was younger he was also a giant saxon fan. He and his friends once covered saxon in school when they were going to like have the school "finish" or whatever you say in english Lul. And that day they built a big saxon eagle out of aluminum foil. What more do you wanna know?
He's breaking the night winds! This album is killer I took lsd and heard it back in the late 80s I think 87, maybe 88 I remember bc bush was taking over after Reagan but yeah this ep and this band should have been way bigger
From what information I could find on these guys, they had a really hard time getting studio time and ended up on a tiny label with almost no promotion, it took 3 years just to get this short EP recorded. The drummer ended up in Hexenhaus, arguably one of the best thrash metal bands to come out of Sweden in the late 80s, while one of the guitarists and singer/bassist started a rock band called Rebelene after these guys split up.
Back then they still knew hiow to play their instruments, they still clould read notes. How come that real musicianship starts to excint? These days we lack bands like that. All those rappers and hiphop clowns just don't know a thing. Real rock won't die!
"they still could read notes", like half of the most renowned metal bands can't read a music sheet. since the 50's tons of legendary musicians were unable to read "real notes", and they still killed it. On the other end, lots of composers for pop stars are musically literate, that doesn't make anything they do better.
Burning is a direct rip off of Judas Priest's Let Us Pray but Im not lnocking Parasite for I never thought this act of infringement was even possible by another band

One of the most epic heavy metal albums!
3:56 - Nightwinds is one of my all time favourite songs! Someone should do a cover of this as would make for such a great anthem!

Another overlooked record back in the dayz (as many, many others). Jonas Billerhag later played under Billy St. John drums for Memento Mori.

A "Swedish" band with no Swedish in their songs.
Back then, everyone wanted to break into the American scene, so they ALL sung in English.

Во второй песне рифф вроде ничего, но больно затянуто все. Второй , третий раз уже слушать нудно.
Похоже на Heavy load, из Швеции.
