    This reminds me of the time I saw Led Zep in Canterbury in 1325. I just got over the plague and sold some indulgences to buy a ticket. Bloody great show! I do think they plagiarized this track from a traveling bard from York though.

    Led Zeppelin inspired me to write my first ever short story when I was thirteen. Their songs always give me a lot of fantasy vibes, also because they took inspiration from Lord of the Rings, which is another inspiration for me. I'll always love this band, and this rendition is absolute genius and fitting.

      I think people overstate Robert Plant's distaste for the song. He's pretty willing to talk about it.

    Great adaptation! The song itself is a wonderful setting for lots of places to be listened to. Castles, forests, lakes, rivers, etc. My favorite one is watching the sunset on Route 1 between Big Sur Park and Carmel, Ca.

    Odd enough, I have a playlist with the original version along with others songs played with acoustic and old guitars, several of them baroque and medieval song. Needless to say, I love this bardcore version too.

    Almost perfect! Put some hurdy-gurdy in the rock out section at the end and it would really cook medieval style!
