【4K】𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊 ➜ Lido Di Spina, Beaches of Italy, Summer 2024

This is the southernmost of the seven beaches of Comacchio, and one of the longest beaches on the coast. It owes its name to the ancient Etruscan port city of Spina, which once stood a little further north, on the delta of the Po River.
In the extreme south of the Lido area begins the Vene di Bellocchio Nature Reserve, an area of ​​high ecological diversity with a system of sand dunes adjacent to the mouth of the Reno River, wetlands with fresh and brackish water, pine forests, shrubs and forests of tamarisk and olive trees.
In recent years it has become an important tourist attraction and is characterized by a particular, very uneven urban and topographic structure. There are very few straight roads and many very large green areas. Lake Spina is small but offers a picturesque walk. The beach is connected to the nearby Lido degli Estensi by a bridge over the Logonovo Canal.
