Rn he's this massive superstar and even though he was obviously huge then too, I think his boxing arc started after he took the few months off, released his song creature, and didn't have the highest approval rating Also the thing that we see from this fight that translates to future fights is that when you're the smaller fighter forced to engage, in a sport where you're learning the fundamentals too, it is just incredibly difficult

Man this was a time in TH-cam history. I remember back then people really didn't think KSI had it. He was the FIFA nerd youtuber who was making music that was memey/not well received and Joe Weller was a fitness guy, absolutely jacked, and was getting into boxing. He did that video with Theo and posted about it on Instagram, KSI commented saying he'd fight the winner. That comment and the beef set it all off. If anyone else had said that to Joe I don't think it'd be an event, it would have been another youtube video. When KSI made that ridiculous transformation in the months before the fight opinions sort of waned, but people thought with the prior experience and his attitude, Joe was going to beat him. I don't just think Joe froze in the moment, to be honest I think the volume of punches and power KSI was generating was a complete shock to him and everyone else.
It also didn’t help that Joe was poorly coached and KSI had great coaching. Joe literally just got trained by someone his mum found at a local gym - the fact they forgot his gum shield in two rounds shows the level they were operating at

Before YT boxing, Yt football/soccer was all we had in terms of youtuber sports. I feel like spencer ended up inspiring the boxing scene and even gave true geordie his big break. I never really liked weller and was so happy when ksi destroyed him. Weller was doing really well on youtube too but just dropped off the internet after that fight. I've watched all the big events since. I remember JJ calling logan and jake out and i thought it would never ever happen. Then we got the logan fight and jake ended up trying to go pro. You got it wrong, Viddal met JJ through Callux. He was Cals personal trainer during the sessions they would also do some boxing training so then when the fight with Joe came about Cal suggested JJ to work with Viddal and then the rest is history.

I thought it was pretty funny being a fan of this show already because the names were identical. What makes this even better is one of Scump and Methodz main segments of the show is titled The Deep Dive, and here you guys are with the same title back! I'm sure it's a complete coincidence which makes this all pretty funny.
The thing that went wrong after KSI and Joe is that Joe didn't handle the loss well. He was salty at times. At misfits 001even being on the team he created unnecessary drama with JJ and Mams. If he just kept that out of the way then we would have potentially seen him in the ring again soon.
Lol this aint true. JJ has said he felt like Joe tried to end his career with the mental health accusation turning him into a villain. Because of the bad blood in the build up and being the underdog, JJ was relentless after the fight. He's funny af but as Wade said very petty, if he doesn't like you he'll let you and his fans know. He clowned Joe the same way nowadays he'll clown jake, pussabi, dildo danis, fournier, Logan (until they became business partners) and even the attempted cancelling of Wade. As the loser Joe basically vanished off TH-cam and lost most of his fanbase and relationships with UK scene. You got it wrong, Viddal met JJ through Callux. He was Cals personal trainer during the sessions they would also do some boxing training so then when the fight with Joe came about Cal suggested JJ to work with Viddal and then the rest is history.
Remember being 100% on Joe’s side and thinking he’d absolutely smoke KSI because he was more fit. Then on the night when JJ came out shredded I was like shit

Some of favorite retired Call of Duty pros, Scump and Methodz, recently started a COD podcast called The Breakdown. I thought it was pretty funny being a fan of this show already because the names were identical. What makes this even better is one of Scump and Methodz main segments of the show is titled The Deep Dive, and here you guys are with the same title back! I'm sure it's a complete coincidence which makes this all pretty funny.

The thing that went wrong after KSI and Joe is that Joe didn't handle the loss well. He was salty at times. At misfits 001even being on the team he created unnecessary drama with JJ and Mams. If he just kept that out of the way then we would have potentially seen him in the ring again soon.

Lol this aint true. JJ has said he felt like Joe tried to end his career with the mental health accusation turning him into a villain. Because of the bad blood in the build up and being the underdog, JJ was relentless after the fight. He's funny af but as Wade said very petty, if he doesn't like you he'll let you and his fans know. He clowned Joe the same way nowadays he'll clown jake, pussabi, dildo danis, fournier, Logan (until they became business partners) and even the attempted cancelling of Wade.
As the loser Joe basically vanished off TH-cam and lost most of his fanbase and relationships with UK scene. It wasn't until KSI stopped firing shots and they hopped on the podcast together that the rift healed. Only to be broken again with JJ calling him a pussy pre-Swarmz fight. Even at the weigh in it was actually JJ who called Joe out initally. Joe's deffo salty but also fairly understandable given the history.
