Worked with Milford at Alb vending in the late 60's. I remember Milford and Felix and Purple Haze playing at our Christmas party. They were great then and great now. This TH-cam clip brings back great memories of my youth. Alcalde NM produced these great musicians.
Remembering & Missing Tommy G, bobby baca, louie soto, the Premiers playing the Beatles, freddie chavez, tommy tapia "tappers", the rockin midnighters, sneakers and that barber on Pacific & 4th SW.... and so many others that played not only at our community centers, schools, auditoriums, private parties, 4-H, on base, and later were at the clubs as we all grew older in Albuq.
Omg. i remember the Far West they were awesome times. The best New Mexico was played at the Far West with great singers Like the Best of the best the Purple Haze.Love them.
I remember filed and Mildred used to come to my house when I was a child . They would sing songs and the family was so happy. Years later Felix gave me a really beautiful diamond ring to boost my confidence. I wonder how he is?

@@romero8328 back in 1977 the Purple Haze band went to Socorro NM at the Army where their was dances almost every weekend ... dif bands each weekend. We were So happy when the P. Haze went...will Never forget that evening they sang so very good. Everyone- like 200 people were there danced the night away. They was an Amazing Special night for such a small town.
