Pakistan have a very good batting side in this world cup, lekin afsos ke sab apna game nahi khel pa rahe, kyunki Rizwan ne sab ko psychogically destroy kiya hai, Imam Babar ke saath acha khel raha tha, jab se Rizwan crease par aya, Babar bilkul confused cricket khel raha tha. Rizwan apni performance ka faida utha kar team par ek nasoor ban chuka hai.
Amir , Imad & Shan Masood must had selected by Pak selection . Pak spinners were useless here .
Coaching is completely different. Coaches don't need vast experience in playing international matches to be a coach. For example Australia's coach, Andrew McDonald played only four tests and rest of his career is at first class cricket. New Zealand coach, Gary Stead played five tests for NZ and most of his career was at first class cricket. Coaches go through training to become coaches. They don't just pick up any good senior player as coach.
In short duration sport games, such as hockey, football, depth of individual player talent can often make a team victorious. Anytime a sport has long time duration, like chess, one say or test match Cricket, though individual player talent still counts, there is a sudden shift to depth in engineering the winning strategy. Indian team spends huge amount of time in strategizing each match. Captain has many scenarios etched in his mind and team selection is impeccable. Indian team plays like a well oiled machine. I am nit saying that they may not lose. But they will lose only to a sports machine that is better constructed compared to them. As I watched, it did not appear that Pakistan could nimbly do a mid course correction. Middle order just crumbled. Against Australia, India’s top order had problems, but quickly a middle order course correction kicked in and they won the match. In Pakistan team, not able to stop fall of wickets, is a failure of strategy. Slight superiority in individual talent cannot fix poor strategy.
