The East End isn't like that anymore....hard to distinguish between a foreign city nowadays. I'm not West Ham but felt it was a huge travesty that Upton Park was sold. Shameful. Only Owners, Directors and shareholders benefitted..and the Club lost it's spiritual home. Absolutely zero atmosphere in the new place. As an away fan I hated going to Upton Park.....and that's a compliment.
That looks like the gym at my old school, St John's next to the Boleyn Ground on Green St. I left in '76 but I remember some of the Junior squad members used to call around and take the occasional PE lesson. I would have loved to have seen John Lyall.
