I like the option of using Headless mode to get panning shots with a camera drone, particularly since yaw has no effect on the flight path. The shot becomes reversible and even repeatable by simply using opposite control-inputs. Tap-fly and Waypoints are good options as well, but Waypoints take much longer to setup and perfect, while Tap-fly doesn't seem to be reversible or as easily repeated.
I've bought this app too now, and I think the makers of the Tello should seriously hire this guy or gal. It really makes the most or the Tello and some more. Great review as always JD.!
Hey bud no mate it's a hardware resources issue with the Tello. When the quadcopter is piloted at full power the image processor sometimes fails to process properly. If I reduce speed slightly then there's no frame drop at all, but I like to fly at full speed with the Tello. Thanks bud 😀👍
@@jdquad Wow! That's good to know matey. Thanks a bunch! Another question here bud. Merely talking about flyability, wich do you like the most? Tello, Dr. X or Mi tu?
Never a problem bud :-). Oh wow that's quite a question, ok then probably Tello as it has enough flexibility to bend slightly and not snap, I've crashed it about 5 times iirc. The Thieye feels sturdier but its not as flexible at all. And the Mui fell on the floor around a month ago and the propeller arm snapped. Hope that helps bud 😀👍
It definitely is good programming. Mostly useful to people new to flying I'd think. When flying for yourself and not for reviews how often do you use "headless mode" or "flips"? _For me they are both novelties that get tested in the first couple of flights and not used again after that_
Thanks bud, never do. My enjoyment comes purely from a manually controlled flight. I use waypoints as part of my stock photography I upload but that's about it tbh. Thanks bud 👍😀
Thanks Andrew bud I believe it's only via the app. The only uplink port is on the battery for charging. The manual sort of says the same too. I'll keep my eyes open and if that changes I'll let you know 😀👍
Such a rarity: no stupid stock music and straight to the point. Thanks a lot!
Youre very welcome

Thanks matey I think the same as you bud, it's damn good 👍😀
Looks like an improvement in the new app. Thanks for taking us up to date matey!
Do you think you might reduce the frame drop by using the Mi Repeater?

Can you help does the f11 have anyway of updating firmware or is it through the app

Very cool! I really hope they port the FPV app to iOS :D
I hope so too matey, would be great 😀👍
Do you use wifi repeater?
I have used one in three videos on the channel, usually I don't use one.
I am unable to get the Headless mode with the app for IOS! is the one you have for Android?
thank you very much for this useful sharing, Jd, i just know this feature from your video ,have a great weekend, mate. best wishes for you 😁🙏🍺♥️
Thank you matey, hope you had a great weekend too 👍😀
You need to buy a new battery.. your battery is draining as 1 Percentage per Flip! 😂😂
tello is the best
So it’s not headless mode, it just tells you which way it is pointing.
It shows the way but i do believe headless mode is included also.
nuce nice
Thanks Heath 👍😉
