I have this machine and love it! Thanks for your tutorial, I’ve had my machine for 4 years now, but love watching reviews about it. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some of the other more recent models, but it does everything you’d ever want. I’ve done some free motion quilting with it and it was great. If you want a good all round machine without a ridiculous amount of stitches and a nice easy to read screen, then this is the machine for you.
I find the knee lifter is too far away from my knee on the Janome 8200 cap. Do you have any advice on this? I sit directly in front of the needle and I can’t reach the knee lifter.
I’m a big fan of this machine, but I have same problem that many people do. If I’m sitting in front of the needle, the knee lifter is too far away. And it feels very loose when inserted and I have it in as far as it will go. Janome really needs to fix this knee lifter.

I could not agree more!

I would love a tutorial on the dial on the right side of the machine that works with the Accufeed foot.
What does q c p stand for and what is the difference in the regular 8200 and the 8200 Special Edition?
Great idea. I’ll add this to my to do video list!
That’s a good question. QCP stands for Quilting Computerized Professional.
Can you give me an idea of what this machine sold for new? I'm looking at a used one, 8 years old but said to have been lightly used
I bought mine in 2018 for $1800 from Amazon. It is a great machine!
I think it originally sold for close to $4,000. It sells on Amazon right now for around $1,900.
How to use each feed that come with the machine?
That's a great idea! I'll start a series after the holidays on each of the feet. Thanks again for the suggestion!

I was a little sad that the extension table was not included when I puchased this machine, it is an addon accessory, or that is what I was told.
Mine came with the table and with the travel case.
I would like a tutorial on the menu screen showing what each icon is for and how to use it. Thanks!
@@barbaradavis4675 That is a great idea! Stay tuned....
I think you may not be very familiar with this machine, which I own.
I am very familiar with this machine. I do discover new techniques or feet all the time though!
