Great video. I wasnt sure to install this fork on my Schwinn mesa 2. I was looking for information everywhere and i couldn’t find it until miracle i found your videos on google. Now i am going to to buy one.
When I cut the rockshox berserker sent me I stuffed a paper towel up the steer tube and put the fork in a trash bag. Then I tape the bag onto the steer tube under where I'm gonna cut. No shavings on the forks at all! Whammo!
@@TheCaptainsCog When I cut it it is sideways in the holder I use so I typically just pull it out upside down to get the debris out. It is definitely no good to get that stuff near your stanchions though!
Was trying to figure out if this fork would fix my al comp cause I didn’t know if it was tapered or not but me and you have the exAct same bike so question answered!!!! Thanks great content!!!!
Can you get replacement seals/parts for the Judy? That would be an advantage over a Bolany/Lutu/Zitto although i have seen Bolany list service kits for their forks
Yes you can get an the service parts for this fork. The advantage of going with a name brand fork is that you can trust that it will work and not fall apart as long you use it within it's design intentions.
do you mean deleter on your pc or on TH-cam? Remember to always back up the files, and back up the project file if you use Resolve or any other proper editing software. the project file has the project saved, so everything you cut, and colour corrected and so on. if you have the original files you can just relink them. Also I recommend to have good folder system, separate folder for each project, a folder for rendered projects, folder for the finished project videos, with thumbnails and so on. have a date on everything. always have double backup.
@@chickensendies that sucks, maybe a vague button? that's a complaint with some cameras, so you might think press record but did not press it far enough so won't record. of course it might not be that. might be a firmware bug. button switch. So you sohuld do some testing to figure this out.
@Johannes Nilsen Sony ZV1 - I just watch it for a few seconds now after I click record to make sure it is actually recording now. I appreciate all the info you shared!!!

That is an absolutely brilliant way to do that!
@@chickensendies I got so many shavings on the bucklos, I had to find a better way.

Great job explaining the process. Exactly the same way I do it. I made a bearing press out of all thread, washers, and nuts
Appreciate it man!!! I debated on making one then just bought that HAHAHAHA
Awesome fork, looking rad on the al comp
It does look pretty shard!!! Appreciate it, Berserker!!!
I myself used a rubber mallet to get the headset in… Great vid looking forward to the next one
Nothing wrong with that HAHAHAHA Appreciate it and I'm definitely enjoying working on this bike so far 😁😁😁

Great work buddy, this fork looks nice. Thanks for share and keep up the good work. Ride on
Really appreciate that, CK!!!
Some good info. Video, Thank you 👊🏽
Thanks, Delbert and glad you found it useful!!!!
What is best or what last longer in your opinion! The air shox or the preloaded spring oil? Thanks 🙏.!!!
I’d say either are fine as long as you take care of it. Regularly wash and keep an eye on the stanchions so nothing gets into the forks.

Exactly what s14tat said! Definitely one of the big bonuses of buying Rockshox!
I have a Rockshox Judy on my GT, very decent fork for the money👍
Definitely seem like good forks for the money!!!
I have a Judy, good fork for the money.
Definitely seems like a very nice fork for under $200!
Manitou is a nice low cost fork also.
They sure do! I actually got one of the Markhors for my budget DJ build. I love the reverse arch on them!
Schwinn Al Bundy. Hit a gap 4 bike lengths long in one jump.
I mean.... Maybe? HAHAHAHAHAHA
@@chickensendies the Polk High Jump
@@allanridesbikes5856 Ahhhhh Now I'm following 🤣🤣🤣
Omg I can't believe you actually named it "AL Bundy"!!!!😅😅😅
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I actually used to watch that show all the time back in the day!
Where did you buy the fork from?
My bud got it from summit bicycles 😁

What I meant was it actually did not record on my camera at all...... I pushed record, and for some reason, it must not have recorded 😅😅😅
@@chickensendies which camera is it?, you should report it to the manufacturer.

X2 on the split crown race
Such a nice and simple feature!
will this work on the women's al comp 27.5? im also debating if I should get the recon instead of judy
Park Tool B.O.W.-1 headset tool for me! Hahahaha I make Sam pilgrim proud.
Hey.... If it works it works! HAHAHAHA
What size headset did you use?
The newer al comps are actually tapered but this one is a older one and it uses a 34mm top and bottom.
Thank you. I have that model.
What size do I need??
I am sorry. What size of what are you referring to?
I'm confused, I think you need to take it apart again so I can see how to press headset bearings in.
HAHAHAHA Maybe in a different video 😅😅😅
You mention a headset
The headset I used was a jessica headset from Amazon.
I thought they were heavy than that.
The weight is not bad at all! It's definitely a sharp fork for the price!
