Thank you for these great videos - they are lifesavers! Really looking forward to part 6 - having a devil of a time fitting part 150517 on page 17 of Hasvik book.
Anyone know how part # 150517 is installed? It is shown (1:02 mark - on floor) in the video and according to the manual it should stick to the top of the door between the corner hardware; but it is not installed in the video and seems to have no purpose if installed via the instructions in manual. IKEA tech is also confused... Thanks
Thanks for the video. We have some of these doors that are not flat, they are slightly bowed when assembled. The centre of the door is forward slightly where the panels join. Have you seen this before? Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Hi. Very dangerous and uneffective assembly systems (both). The safest way on one's own is, by standing-joining the panels -- leaning on a wall -- with their own cardboard in protection. Which makes for one only movement in lifting the door onto the cabinet. Suggest not to full-finish the piece, regulation being more important: mounting the metal profile right off, will no more grant access to hinges :)
Mate big thanks, helped me out alot
