The reason I made this video already now is I know the new 2h sword skill isnt going to be a good build for mapping on hardcore. Once again a few things that came to mind as I was reviewing it that I did not cover in the video: - If you happen to get so fortunate as to find a +3 holy bolt War Scepter or perhaps Divine Scepter with 4 sockets that would be the ideal early weapon with Insight RW inside - Early HB chaos I think najs staff should probably be #1 priority as an upgrade as it means you can use teleport a lot more freely inside CS, being able to quickly skip past anything that isnt elite packs, ghosts or high density undead groups and rapidly get to seals and diablo is pivotal to efficiency when farming Chaos. I also forget to set up a hotkey for charge in the showcase here which is a skill I would use quite a lot inside CS when moving between the seals if theres only a few monsters. - A lucky Tiara imbue (clvl 73+), Coronet (clvl 78+) or Circlet (clvl 83+) could easily yield the +1 or +2 skills you need for HB as well as provide a socket for a topaz or some res - Endgame zeal with Death cleaver you could potentially use Atmas scarab for amp proc since youre much less restricted on IAS and DS compared to a Schaefers build - If you want to start playing elemental charger earlier on you could probably start off with the holy shock route using offensive skillers since you can use a Crescent Moon phase blade as weapon, Stormspire on merc and a random slam Griffons should be pretty cheap.
Flying fuck is this singleplayer? All of those items would take me a year to grind towards. Every one of them. Played for 4 months on d2r with my dad and im still level 85 with zero value to my account. Any one of those charms has more value than everything ive accumulated so far lol.
@@DageyWow18 Getting gear and currency in PD2 is kind of easier than D2R, but game is still the same grindfest, that we all love! Also with more builds, other than hammerdins and blizz sorcs!
The easiest way for necro is: phys skellies (warriors + archers) with max amp curse. This build ends with level 77, rest in preferences (max iron golem, revive or curse mastery). This build is strong but slow.
I appreciate these videos. The only thing I miss is briefly talking about a few decent options for (group) clearing the three difficulties initially. What are your thoughts on this for Paladin on HC?
Youre basically just a walking aura in a group playthrough. In most groups youll probably have to be on salvation most of the time. Even if you do decide to go holy fire zeal early normal it will usually be irrelevant by the time you reach act 3 so there isnt much point when you can just go 1 pt might for the party and then go straight holy bolt and have a playable spec once youre done even if you dumped a good amount of points into salvation.
@@ChaosSanctuary Great point about Holy Fire wearing off quickly. I did some testing yesterday and Holy Fire really smacks early on, but at the same time it’s a very selfish aura. A Paladin will probably be paired with a summoner of sorts in the early parts of the playthrough anyway so that 1 point wonder Might definitely seems like the better choice. Then just stacking Holy Bolt and a bit of Resist Fire for Diablo will do the trick.
It could be really nice to see performance of holy freeze without too much jewel and too many cold charms and infi so I could decide whether to go for it or not
It can be since it has good damage. The mechanics of hammers is a real limiting factor on a lot of maps though and its hard to fit mf into your setup early on compared to HB/foh
Will foh pally be god for hell cows day 1 straight after leveling compared for example to fire volcano druid (i tested him and with spirit and rhyme he already do cows very fast)?
Going to cow lvl as a paladin day 1 is a waste since its way stronger in trav and CS. Fissure druid is by far the strongest hell cow build with no +skills except spirit.

Yes these guides have been made utilizing the PD2 PlugY test stash which has close to everything you'd need for testing purposes

Your best bet is to go to the PD2 discord and follow the instructions to install PlugY along with the teststash and then try out things for yourself
