American Crows and Black Vultures keep the earth clean by eating any remnants of abandoned prey.
In the video, an Osprey skillfully forages for fish, but it leaves a small portion of its catch on its perch. Two Black Vultures briefly stop on a limb and observe the area.
The Black Crows wait until the Osprey leaves its perch before examining the area for leftovers from the Osprey’s catch.
American Crows are highly social birds, more often seen in groups. Admired for their intelligence, American Crows can work together, devise solutions to problems, and recognize unusual food sources.

Two Hours Later
Two Black Vultures perched above the Osprey with hopes of retrieving any remnant of the Osprey's meal.
