Obito doesn’t hate Kakashi. Hell, he doesn’t even resent him for killing Rin. Obito knows full well that Kakashi is suffering just as much as he is, if not more. Obito himself said he would “revive” Kakashi in the dream world because Obito wants him to be happy too. If he hated Kakashi, he wouldn’t “bring” Kakashi to his ideal world. Obito is just detached to everyone and everything. He feels that all the death and crimes he committed are for the “greater good”.

Although Kakashi is right that the void in the heart can be filled with friends, at that point everyone wants to kill Obito so that argument falls under its own weight. Kakashi suffered a lot but he accepted those deaths, you could say he is stoic but Obito is not like him. Obito is an Uchiha therefore his emotions are very sensitive, that is why Rin's death affected him a lot even though it was not reciprocated love, because Obito loved Rin too much and the situation in which she died was so surreal that the Rin who died is false (Obito was traumatized). Obito is an orphan, Rin died, Kakashi broke his promise to protect her and Minato was not there again at the most important moment even though he is the fastest ninja in history. So Obito abandoned his emotional ties because they only caused him more pain as he remembered that they let him down, and the longer Obito lived, the more he saw the tragedies the ninja world caused and the more reasons they gave Obito to do the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Obito does not hate Kakashi, he empathizes with him because he knows that he also suffered, but it is clear that both stayed with the idealized version of the other (Obito stayed with the idealized version of Kakashi which would never break his promise and Kakashi stayed with the idealized version of Obito who wanted to be Hokage). Obito's mind is so twisted, that he thinks that all the deaths he caused are for a good cause, since Madara told him that even the dead will live in the new world, so it is preferable that they die rather than continue living in that painful reality where sooner or later they will be killed by the ninja system
@narendhiranp5069 Obito specifically told Kakashi to promise him that he will protect Rin. If Rin got hurt and Kakashi couldn't protect her that means he failed to keep the promise, but Rin died so that breaks the promise because Rin isn't alive for Kakashi to protect her.
She could've made it to the leaf. Minato could've used a sealing just on her and Kushina would've been closer to Kurama thanks to Matotabi. The leaf would've had two Jinchuriki's.

Rewatching shippuden I am pretty sure at 5:20 that was the ten tails perspective of what it was seeing in naruto, after watching naruto so many times not sure why I am just now catching that.

Except only the beginning was filler. The end of that arc where the Akatsuki went for the 3 tails was canon. And they put that filler arc in Naruto Storm 4. It was pretty cool to be a filler
There was sort of a foreshadow to this for us viewers. The backstory episode where obito saw yahiko throw himself into nagato’s kunai, he thought of rin being ran through with kakashi’s chidori. He either knew by that point or he was having doubts about her death
Tbh! I would love to watch boruto even on patereon but I suggest manga only and you can watch fights from Anime because manga is god tier I would say it even surpass Naruto and Naruto shippuden the way it is now .

He wanted to put everyone in infinite tsukuyomi to prevent them from experiencing the same tragedy as team Minato did,cuz in his mind all that just wasnt suppoused to happen to good people like rin,kakashi and himself when he was young,so by going with the eye of the Moon plan he would make a perfect world with only love,no wars/cycle of hatred.
